I appreciate the realness of your videos. I don’t like to watch homeschool videos that are all sunshine and roses because my homeschool does not look like sunshine and roses all the time. Just so you know, I am not African-American and couldn’t care less what race you are. It’s what you have to share and that you love Jesus!
I'd love a video on Breaking the Barrier French! That's what I'm trying this year with my 9th grade son and he finds the program very difficult. There is not much online about the program. I'd love to know if it's just us.
We are still on Week One. It did say sometimes you have to spend more time on the lesson. It is seeming difficult for him at the moment. Will give an update when we make progress.
@joyfullyhomeschoolingboys OK, thanks for your quick reply! My son said it assumed you had a pretty heavy knowledge base already and while he has done duolingo and Rosetta stone, he definitely doesn't feel it's a French 1 level class. He also feels it's hard to navigate.
I'm with you on the getting more strict - This year with my 9th and 11th graders, I had to put my foot down. We started the year with them having bad attitudes and all that, but after some "come to Jesus" meetings, we got through it. Things are starting to smooth out in week 16 🤣
If there is ANY discrepancy in homeschool credits or diplomas, you should involve the HSLDA! They fight for us on so many levels, and often it only takes one phone call from them to get things straight.
What things are you changing in this season?
Trying to make this whole experience our OWN, slowing down and deep diving into important or interesting topics
Yes, I love that for you.
I love your channel!
Thank you so much!
Our church held a parenting BIble study based on that parenting book you showed... I didn't make that one, but I heard great things!
Finishing up my last book maybe I will start that one first

Oh okay! My son has no previous experience with French, but I do understand the website seems to be all over when trying to navigate.

That’s great! Yea they need some readjusting at times.

Thanks! Good to know.
I have SO many books I want to read, but my brain is MUSH after teaching two high schoolers. I need more brain power - HA!
Right there with you.
We are NOT an apologia family - LOL. I despise it - at every level! LOL
I am headed in that direction.
