you need a piano of some sort to play at all since its the instrument to play the song. but if you have a piano keyboard you can connect it to your computer which opens up more useful features on synthesia. all you have to do is put the .midi file into the synthesia music folder. or any folder you want and go to settings in synthesia and tell it to search that folder for music
Left side, should be easy. The right, little more difficult. If I ever attempt to learn this, I would likely mix up my right and left hands! But I think it should be fine especially since the song also isn’t too difficult speed-wise

this piece is actually pretty easy and i would recommend any beginners to try it out. it's pretty slow paced and the left hand is just a loop of the exact same thing over and over again (it changes once but then loops that)
this is the first song I'm playing since I'm still really new to playing on he piano. I thought I was doing good for the past couple days, but I look through to check again, and daym. I need to memorize that right hand near the middle....
by the way if you saw the first one (higurashi no naku koro ni) there is another one called higurashi no naku koro ni kai it kind of explains the things happening in the first one.
The fingering for 2:12 - 2:14 was pretty tricky imo. I had major issues playing it for a while. Then again, I learned Pico's transcription of the song, so that part is a little bit different and easier imo. I'd say practice makes perfect. I kept at it every so often and I can play that part pretty well now. If you look at Pico's version in the video description, it has another variation of that part that you could probably try and learn.
This is really awesome. But what gets me is how there can be people who give thumbs down for videos like this one. Is it really worth it to even do that? I guess they're just Anime haterz lol.
