    I've had my 2000 GTi VR6 since 2005. I only have Neuspeed P Flo, Magnaflow cat back, H&R racing springs with Konig shocks, but man does she sound great. 130,000 miles and still rolling.

    Hey man. Just found this channel and im digging it. You and i have a pretty similar story. My 1992 vr6 (mk2) was my first car and i too had to take a 4hr train ride to pick it up lol. Anyways meant to ask you if you have crazy torque steer when wot like i do? I have a 600whp vrt and i can barely keep it straight on the street so wondering if its something with the car or everyone has that issue

      Eyy thanks! thats some coincidence right there! About the torque steering, what have you done to the drivetrain? Make sure to run a good quality suspension and at least polyurethane bushings for the control arms aswell. Although, the thing that makes the biggest difference is of course a LSD-diff. Im running a diff from peloquin and it does miracle for the torque.

      Mendtech koni adjustable coilovers but stock control arms. Got poly bushings on the way hoping that fixes it

      Mendtech no peloquin lsd. Stock gears. Which have stripped like 6 times in 2000kms lol

      My car club buddy had a 350whp vr6 and could never keep it straight, I think its normal, mine reaches max torque around 2800 rpms and spins, and mine is way slow.

    So I have the a 12v vr6. I want to turbo it soon. Am I suppose to delete the maf sensor? And what about the tubing that runs from the main air intake hose to the idle control valve?

      Depending on if youre going with a chip or standalone, with the stock ecu ypull need the maf. If you go ms or vems you can go to a better map setup

    So how do you do the conversion to 24v coil packs?

      I use the 1,8t ignition coils, the ones that are a bit longer fit perfectly. Im running a stand alone ECU and it has ignition outputs that connects to the coils and are run by a relay.

      @@calebc6028 My ecu is called LINK G4 Storm, it's basically the same as the brand called VIPEC. The "problem" with my ecu is that it has only 4 outputs for ignition and injectors, so you have to use the first three and connect them together with the same ones in the correct firing order. (cylinder 1 and 6, 2 and 5, 3 and 4) so it ignites in vain every second time, also known as Wasted spark.

      it could, if you run stock ecu and stuff like that you will need to make connections for idle valve and so on. but the stock intake is not bad at all for vr6 na.

      @@Mendtech I have AFP 12v VR6 and I have plastic intake manifol but it has the turnover valve issue so I was thinking to put a short runner and this spaturbo one makes sense how the air flows through

      @@TURBODON.6 Yeah the SPA one is not bad, but even well-made shortrunner intakes with inlet on the side will work fine if the tune is proper (Y)
