I did some checking on this song trying to find out why this was so emotional to her. This song she is singing, Love You Still, is to her father because she chose to marry Dave Lamar over her family and her father basically was his hands of her for that choice. Adds a whole new meaning when you see it.

Dave is a good man, and we have seen how much he loves and supports Morissette in all things including her music. Her father should actually be proud that she made the right choice for a husband. This is a song that pulls her emotions, made even more emotional by the sound of the cello accompaniment, maybe that's why she herself broke down to tears listening to it. Bewitchingly melodious sound.. it seemed like a sound from a distance attracting me to hear it over and over again... Part of me is a filipino blood but was not gifted with such an envious sounds as they have, but I love watching Filipino artist.. like Katrina Velarde, Morisette Amon, Elha Nympha, Nonoy Peña, Sam Mangubat, Michael Pangilinan, Bugoy Drilon and Daryl Ong... She sometimes eases up or down from the exact pitch as a stylistic effect. This was a studio recording, so they could fix anything they wanted to.
