Give or take ya
Wine 9.16 was there in the list.. it was number 4, not 2. (26:18)
(granted, I don't know what I'm talking about. :)

So from the 3, wich one is your favorite?
They all are
Cachy or nobara for gaming on AMD? I will kde DE
yes
Yes
My issue with Linux right now is WiFi related. I use a Realtek chipset and I can see all the networks. But it just won’t connect. I tried every driver tutorial there is. Still not working. Tried out Nobara and Fedora. I will give PikaOS a try. Thanks Matt
replace the realtek with a intel wifi chip ax200 if possible or Ax210
@@Mattscreative my only issue with linux ts that dlss framegen doesn't work it gives me 30+fps in some games. did you find a way to make it work ?
So, which of them has the best gaming performance?
Clear Linux and then Cachyos and then pikaos and last nobara
So pikaos has better gaming performance than nobara?
In some games yes
Only Nobara gives you a version of OBS that's as complete and well configured as Windows. Nobara gives you an OBS experience better than Windows out of the box. On no other distro can I get the plugins I use working. If you're talking about "gives you" Nobara is leagues ahead here.
wrong also pikaos i mentioned that
You really can't get a full grasp of a distro's capabilities when running in a VM, I prefer seeing the install on bare metal. I guess I was expecting to see actual gaming performance on each distro which is the primary focus of these distros. Nice video though, even brought up some features of CachyOS that I wasn't even aware of since I've been running the distro for the past year.
@@Phanbot01 no you can lol i swear you need to put in more effort… and you will learn better. I have all these distros on bare metal and videos done on all and gaming and so much more … but you jump to the comments instead of checking. For things like installers and going over simple things a vm is well worth it and helps loads of people
PikaOS seems like work in progress. I would much rather use Kubuntu 24.10 daily build. I love CachyOS, but it seems unsafe to install apps from AUR, is it not?
Every distros is work in progress because Linux is always changing and aur is fine for apps unless you use manjaro than avoid the aur.
Pikaos 4 is hella stable and the more people who use it and report back the better it becomes
Hey matt bazzite os is a beast probably the best outhere immutability is the future.......as well as vanilla os orchid....mabox linux also surprises .

why do i chose garuda linux over cachyos or manjaro and vice versa ,,, really confusing me ... all of them based on arch and focus on new comers and gamers
Garuda is just manjaro and just as bad but i won't get into that and cachyos is built for the best gaming performance period on arch much like nobara for fedora and pikaos for debian. just make better choices
My desktop machine has been offline for months as I'm waiting for PicaOS Debian to drop!
same
Hey matt i tried lutrius playing some i guess sailing the sea games but sound isnt working
Or we can say its just mute
Well i am troubleshooting it but lets see how it will go
Do you have any clue whats happening

if PikaOS will use Debian that good. Debian is the best, and never broken on me.
ya it's in alpha soon i will bring a video
u should try deepin
@@hachiro. I really shouldn’t lol it’s not very good
Why is it not good?
@@hachiro. look 23 is better but it's still so messy and over complex and i might try version 24 if they fix the rest of the weirdness
Lol CachyOS openbox is an FGO fanboi defaulting to Okita Souji.
weebs
Fedora and nobara are the most shit distro I've ever used
@@I-G_LEADER sounds like a skill issue because for most these days they are the best
@@Mattscreative it's has a lot of bug
I prefer cachyos more
Or maybe it's because my iso file is corrupted
Sounds like you had a bad install my fedora has been flawless and same for nobara
@@Mattscreative I installed both nobara and fedora
Both of them have bugs
@@Mattscreative which one is better? fedora/nobara or cachyos for performance
Would like you to test the latest release of CachyOS. Lots of performance improvements. 😉
