- There's a lot you might not know that you can do in Halo Infinite, such as Super Sliding with your handy grapple. We put together a list of advanced tips and tricks to help you gain the extra edge on the battlefield.
Each new weapon and piece of equipment has secret perks and changes the landscape of Halo Infinite's multiplayer. Getting increased grenade distance with Repulsors, launching farther with Grappleshots, and using Threat Sensors and shock weapons as a mobile shock pole are just some of the secrets hidden in the game's engine. As time goes one, more is sure to be uncovered in Halo Infinite's sandbox.
As Jordan Ramée states in the Halo Infinite's Review In Progress, "The multiplayer feels like old-school Halo, but tweaked to better fit the modern FPS playerbase that has fallen in love with shooters that accentuate their solid gunplay with smooth movement and quick-to-deploy abilities."

Grappling down grav lifts is the biggest "outta here" you can do in halo

You can shoot the motion detector onto a teammate, and it will stick to them and still function, making it mobile. Same with vehicles, and maybe even objectives and weapons.
Problem is, the enemies also see the pulse of that threat sensor, effectively just painting a big, glowy target onto your teammates. So it may be a better idea to try and stick it onto an enemy spartan or vehicle, turning them into an unwilling spy.
You can shoot it onto an enemy too
I’ve landed these on the enemy but it only stuck for a few seconds. Not sure if it’s possible to pull this off tho
@@jimi3314 I think I landed it on an enemy once by mistake and watched him run away tagging his teammates
Ya, if you do it on a team mate though, then they are giving off obvious moving pulses so the enemy will easily locate them as well, so remember this is a double edges sword and frankly rude move to use on most team mates. Though if he's got a grav hammer and overshield he might be ok with it in some cases.
You can actually use the Repulsor as a great tool in Stockpile. Once the seeds spawn in, use the Repulsor on them and you can push all of them towards your base at once.
You can also use the grav hammer.

playing the fiesta event has allowed me learn a lot of the weapons and equipment, super fun

i love it too though i do kinda wish they took out the Energy sword, Gravity Hammer, and Spnkr so that everyone wouldnt feel so compelled to fight with only those powerful weapons

I love how high the skill ceiling is for Infinite. It's gonna be crazy to see some pro matches

Imagine someone killing an enemy around a corner with a threat sensor + shock rifle combo. Every time I turn around the equipments seem to have newer applications.
skill ceiling isnt actually that high. its still more about legit teamwork and shooting straight
Also using camo before picking up the flag will camo the flag as well

@@pollutedcrimson No, they cannot. If you are not sprinting, you are not visible with the flag. You can walk the flag back and not be on radar at all. In oddball you are always visible however.
This is why I love this game! There are so many skills to learn!
Drop Wall is also effective for trapping enemies. Drop one behind an enemy. Then they can’t back away and you can melee them to death. Also works against hammers.

Great vid! The Razorback can carry stockpile batteries and the flag! on the back. So solo players can do it if the team isn't :)

I actually wanted to say for the grappleshot, using trees or light poles and looking at the object once you’ve grappled, you gain a lot more momentum than if you look away and drift back. You can change your movement speed on the grapple by pressing forward or backwards while grappling, so if you look towards the anchor point and press forward you actually gain a significant amount of speed. This has launched me across maps a lot.
Shock damage prevents enemy from using scope as long as the dot is ticking
once forge is out, I’m looking forward to all the “things you didn’t know about” videos like zelda breath of the wild
This was a solid video, I actually didn’t know about shooting the base of the drop wall or shooting equipment to static shock the area
shooting the base of the drop wall is one of the tips 343 shows on the menu when you're waiting to load but yeah not many people do it in game

Honestly surprised the slide -> jump wasn’t mentioned. It’s a nice way of moving a bit faster in game as the momentum from the slide is then carried into the jump
Yeah I do it all the time I usually lap the whole map 2 to 3 times before everyone else
Not sure that would qualify as "advanced tricks you didn't know." That's a pretty standard mechanic for a lot of shooters.
The repulser / grenade combo was a sweeet bit of intel💪
these were exactly what I was looking for, my favorite was the repulsor tips and mangler 1 tap + melee.

The grapple tips are very nice. I didn't know about swinging around corners, now to go fulfill my Spartan Web Slinger dreams! Also, the repulsor has been one of my favorites to use lately, and the push to jump higher is something I'll definitely keep in mind because I had not tried that yet.

You can shoot grenades to detonate them
No you can't. It just redirects them.
To clarify you can shoot grenades that were dropped from an enemy that you killed, as well as grenades frompick up spawns. You will however need to do it with a precision weapon. (Br,sidearm,commando,etc)

It seems pretty obvious, but a lot of people haven't realized: the disruptor is full-auto, too. Just because it's a pistol doesn't make it semi.
Yep, good call. I just discovered that a few days ago.
Use repulsor to throw the flag in CTF matches. Jump, drop flag, and hit repulsor to throw the flag a good distance ahead of you.

This is exactly what I need in lieu of all the trouble with the Pass and Customization, the only one I really knew was the grapple because of my years with Titanfall and Apex, EMP shock, and Extra melee damage.

it does, there are clips online, you can reverse it back to the firer as well

Watched this earlier and can't remember if this was also mentioned but dropping your weapon is faster than swapping your weapon. In a tight situation when you run out of ammo in a mag and need a speedier but more risky swap, drop your current weapon instead.

How did you get the disruptor to work in this video? Did they finally fix the bug?
You don't need to hold crouch after grappling/jumping to do the slide. You merely need to tap crouch button midair and he will slide when he lands.
I have 1 thats probably well known already. Using the repulsor too move the whole stock pile at once

You can use the grappler to navigate outside the boundaries of the map and make crazy flanks
