Absolutely loved this video. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask please, how do your sugar flowers not go soft in those plastic containers? Many thanks.
Thank you so much; I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Our sugar flowers stay perfectly dry in the containers, year-round. We add silica gel packets to the containers before closing the lids (you can buy the large size on Amazon). We have pretty humid weather here in Seattle but please note that it's not a tropical climate -- so if you are living in an extremely humid area, you'll need to be more careful about storing your flowers -- ideally for shorter periods, with a dehumidifier nearby, and with more silica gel packets inside the containers to absorb moisture!
@@HoneyCrumb thank you so much for replying. That's a great idea.
OMG... beautiful bakery and what a beautiful locatation. I am organizational freak so I had to hit the pause and drool on how orgazized everything is. And the wall of sugar flower cutter.. omg .. I love the way you have these stored.. and alphabetize ! You had flower cutters I have never seen in gumpaste, like, Bells of Ireland, Dusty Miller... I believe there is one gumpaste Bird of Paradise on youtube, but the sound is awful... thanks for sharing.. !!! PS. how do you work done with that water view?
Thanks Yvonne! It definitely makes our creative lives easier to have everything nicely organized. :) We've got so many cutters that we hardly ever use for wedding cake orders (especially "Bells of Ireland", haha!) but believe me, they're all on my list of flower tutorials to create for UA-cam... mostly because they're just such interesting plants and they present a fun challenge. Also, I would LOVE to do our version of a Bird of Paradise as a tutorial; thanks for the suggestion!
@@HoneyCrumb Great ! Can't wait!!!
Hi carla I enjoyed watching yr tour so much but can u make us a more interesting suger Rose's vids and teach us how to make these textures on a fancy wedding caks !
Thanks Zhera! Are you talking about the garden rose in the video? (We already have a sugar rose tutorial on our channel.) :) :) If so, we'll gladly add a tutorial for the garden rose to our list. As for the fancy wedding cake textures, you'd probably have to take an in-person workshop with us for those! (Hard to teach something so complex via UA-cam!)
@@HoneyCrumb I already watched all yr suger roses vids and I made one, thank u 💗
@@zhera5492 How did it turn out?
So pretty and realistic I really enjoyed making it thanks for the reply 😊💗💗
