- What's popping you guys, it's your boy Cap back with another video. Today I am going to be discussing why Kazuya mains are so cool Tekken 8. I hope you guys can grab a snack and spend the next 10 minutes with me while I lay out nothing but facts, let me stop. I hope you guys can enjoy the content. "Most of the cast don't have an input like that" - Meanwhile playing the character that has like a million just frames. There's also much harder than the EWGF which is crazy really, like Bryan's Taunt Jet Upper, Nina's butterfly loops and Leo's iws3 pickup which are all basically like a EWGF but require multiple frame perfect inputs instead
@@blargd Yeah but I tried Bryan and could do his taunt, I can do Lees perfect frames except for Acid Rain, but I can't get EWGF to come out reliably. So that's the hardest for me.
You can’t compare EWGF to TJU. That’s ridiculous. Bryan can function perfectly well without TJU. In fact, TJU isn’t even necessary. It’s only good in the neutral, and that’s only an exceptionally high level technique. Taunt b4 is far better at the wall. For kazuya, the EWGF is a requirement. He needs it to even function from low intermediate to the highest pro level of play. EWGF is nowhere near as hard as TJU. But that’s not even remotely the point. No other character in the game requires a just frame input merely to FUNCTION as a character. Bryan functions well up to even pro level play without anyone ever attempting TJU. There’s no comparison.
taunt jet upper is not comparable to EWGF, that's an entirely different tier of difficulty which kazuya has as well. a more accurate comparison would be TJU vs kazuya's CH df2 PEWGF. there's debate over which is harder, but they are both techniques that require three 1-frame links, starting on a specific frame, on consecutive frames, and ending in a just-frame direction + attack. I think the perfect electric is harder personally but they are both things that only the top 0.01% of players of that character can do with any consistency.
if you don't know about this, you aren't qualified to be speaking on the subject of what's difficult and what's not because that's a very commonly known comparison.
also, the CH df2 PEWGF is more important to learn for kazuya than TJU is for bryan. TJU is mostly for swag whereas kazuya's is how you get his best damage, every combo in every crazy combo video usually starts with this. bryan really doesn't need it, since he can taunt b4 at the wall to launch, and midscreen he can taunt b4 into ff2 which is good damage, a heat engager, and a wall splat if you're close enough to a wall, and comparatively pretty easy.
the difference is , EWGF is very important for kazuya
