I ordered this e-bike this morning after doing some research and deciding the main purposes for using it(Small town riding for errands and occasional short trips out of town not usually to exceed 20 miles round trip.). I'm almost 65 years old. Retired. In pretty decent shape. I walk(2 to 6 miles), use a manual treadmill(25 to 30 minutes), lift weights(kettlebells), about 3 to 5 times a week. This e-bike seems to be a good fit for my 5'9, 165 pound frame. I like that this e-bike allows me 3 modes of operation, pedal only, pedal assist, and electric only. I also agree that one pedal gear is plenty. I don't have the need for speed that I did in my youth...:) Thanks for taking the time to post this review, it confirmed my reasoning for making this purchase.

I bought 3 DYU d1 in black, white and limited edition red in 2017. Only has one flat and still love them. The DYU D1 no pedals are discontinued so I am keeping mine . If I need a part they are easy to find on Amazon or DYU shops in Singapore, USA or China factory,
Best purchase I have ever made. I love my e-bikes so much and everyone who sees them love them.

I would definitely buy the DYU D3F because the price is right for me right now and I just love the light weight of this beautiful unit plus the portability of just where I’m gonna store it! Thank you for helping me make my decision!❤️

I like the DYU D3F. I'm in my 70,s but still active, have a need for getting a little steadier ride and the short wheel base, ease of mounting is my ticket. Thank you.

My Class 1 gets me anywhere in the SF Bay Area, including national parkland and beaches. Many of my friends and acquaintances are tempted to try an ebike just because I am so darn happy - and their cars are breaking them. But many people live upstairs, and my 65-pound tank does not do stairs. I will be touting this bike, and your video, because this 37-pounder changes the equation. Thanks.

I have a 20 inch ebike with 2 motors and it is too big and heavy really to bring anywhere.I am thinking of getting one of these when I go on vacation. For anyone that travels and wants to see sights--these will change your life.Even something like this can get you to places you could never really walk to in a day--plus if you pedal the range is great on these and it is light peddling for the most part.

Dunno if the DYU is programmed the same, but on the Jetson version if you tap the headlight button three times it will kick in the cruise control until you brake or hit the button again
If you look around Jetson actually remanufactures their returns and resells. You can find them for as low as 200 bucks

I love the smaller frame since it can easily get into my car, but i also need it a bit lighter. The one that I have one is 52 lbs, and I find it very heavy to load to put it in my car's trunk. 25 lbs would be ideal.

I don't see this as an Ebike, I see this as an El city scooter with a seat + pedals to make the seat legal many places it otherwise wouldn't.
It's more for cruising around city center and the mall then the country road...

Do you review mopeds? I hope so. That's what I'm looking to get.

How do I find the reviews you have done on mopeds? I was actually talking about gas powered mopeds to be clear.
