Das M’era Luna Festival auf dem Flugplatz Drispenstedt in Hildesheim ist jedes Jahr im August wieder Treffpunkt für die schwarze Szene aus ganz Europa, um ein friedliches und entspanntes Wochenende mit alten und neuen Freunden zu verbringen.

Every year, the M’era Luna Festival on the Drispenstedt airfield in Hildesheim is a meeting place for the Goth scene from all over Europe, in order to spend a peaceful and relaxed weekend with old and new friends. As well as the constantly top-class headliners, the main attractions for visitors from all over the world include the special atmosphere, the short distances, the medieval market or the extravagant fashion show.
seeing so many people different people gathering and uniting for the love of being different is so beautiful. Wish I could go.

Dieses Video muss eigentlich viel größer verbreitet werden.
Es ist für mich unbeschreiblich, wie wundervoll dieses unscheinbare Werk das M'eraLuna-Gefühl wiedergeben kann.
Jeder darf so sein wie er will, jeder ist so wie er will, und ist glücklich dabei. Ein Festival der Persönlichkeiten, ein Festival der Individuen, und doch ein Festival einer ganz großen Familie.
Scheiß egal ob Metalhead, FolkloreFan, Cyber, GothicLolita, Normalo oder sonstiger Schubladenausreißer. An jedem Camping-Pavillon findet man Freunde, die einem herzensgut empfangen.
Danke für die schönen Erinnerungen, bis zum nächsten Mal!

Ich habe noch nie ein Video gefunden, bei dem mir jedes Mal wieder die Tränen kommen, egal wie oft ich es ansehe. Wer ein Mal auf dem M'era Luna gewesen ist, weiß genau, was diese Bilder einem sagen wollen. Es ist eine Insel, eine Heimat- ein Ort, wo mein Herz hängt. Weil jeder sein darf, wer er ist und ihn das glücklich macht. Weil es einen glücklich zu sein und dabei akzeptiert zu werden und dann gemeinsam zu sein.
Unbeschreiblich was das Video noch alles in mir auslöst... Danke M'era Luna!

Cant wait! This will be my second Mera Luna I am going to 2016. Moving to Germany was best thing I ever did! I thought if I wanted to be part of the amazing scene and experience the festivals and go anytime I wanted then moving there would be what had to be done. Cant wait I am already packed up and nearly ready to go as its this weekend! Cant wait to see the beautiful faces and friends there!
The US has nothing like this . I would give anything to to Mera Luna! Why does it seem like there are amazing festivals like this everywhere but here? Ha we have Coachella. 🙄

Lol well Croatia is closer ? You couldn't pay me to go to Coachella. At least I have my fave band VNV Nation that comes to us fairly regularly! Seeing them in Boston Sept 26th!!

There used to be a big festival in Montreal Canada which is only 4 hours north of me. I finally was going to go and they canceled it and it's gone for good now . 😭😭

I live in Vermont on the East coast of US. We border Quebec Canada and its only 3.5 hour drive to border . I have lots of family in Toronto As well. That's a 10 hour drive . Most likely moving to Toronto area in next year as I have dual cit and I need to get out of my insane country with our insane president! Not sure Canada has much in way of big festivals. None that I know of other than the one that used to be in Montreal.

Wow, the freedom these people have. I wonder of they are harshly judged or shunned by their families and society. ? We have these kinds of folks in America, but not bear the numbers. America's is such a conservative, primitive country. Europeans always look happier and healthier, too. They get alot of time to do the things that makes them happy. These people in this video are so wholesome. The ones that ive met here in the states have always been very friendly and kind. I love this tyoe of style. It actually inspires me to be different, no matter if I get physically hurt or disowned by my family.
