African Cryptids Are Kinda Crazy

  • It's always been weird to me that Egyptian Mythology gets so much of the limelight when it's not only a tiny part of Africa's overall mythology, it's also some of the least interesting, in my humble, albeit controversial opinion. It's just that with Egyptian Mythology you get 'bird guy who carries the sun' while in Ghana's folklore you get a tiny rat-man who carries around a living snake for a walking stick and wears a beehive on his head. I just think it's a lot more fun.

It's cool to see African cryptids getting some well deserved attention, my favorite African cryptids are the Kasi rex, a monstrous trex creature that hunts rhinos and elephants. and the enndi tiger, which is basically a Smilodon aka saber tooth tiger.
