Hi Paloma! Thank you once again for inviting us into your space. I love “hanging out” with you ☺️ In regards to the bowls, I love them! You should totally put them up on your shop!
I feel like you’ve definitely settled in and feel comfortable in your current art style! Obviously your style would change over time, but I enjoy watching you create things that you love! It all looks so effortless! Keep it up! 👍🏻
Hola Paloma, muchas gracias por tus videos, me han ayudado mucho estos últimos días, estoy pasando por un periodo de depresión y tus videos me relajan y motivan mucho! Gracias!
Having a puppy is SO hard. Even with my partner having a puppy was one of the hardest things we did together and we had his mom to look after him while we were at work.(he's almost 4 and things are better now lol). I definitely do not blame you for not being able to keep her, I know I couldn't do it alone.
I loooove your color palettes, in everything, the painting, and omg the ceramics are adorable! love love looove, yes i think you should sell your ceramics :)
I LOVE❤ the ceramic bowl, I have two cats (black and orange as well) and a weenier dog! They are beautiful and very well done for your first set, and myself and I'm sure others would definitely purchase. I can relate to the puppy being a bit too much to handle, and I'm just glad you made the decision as soon as you did, others (like my family had in the past when I was younger) sometimes fail to think about what's best for everyone involved (sad we cant be cat and dog twins though :3). Thank you for sharing a bit of yourself and your space, love your vibes.
@@palomathepeach Honestly ever since I got mine 12 years ago I cant imagine not having a little weenie dog. He has literally cemented himself as my favorite breed because of how much I just absolutely love him every single day. I hope you are able to get one in the near future when its right for you! ^^
Thank you for sharing your puppy experience, my partner and I recently got a puppy and even with him it's incredibly difficult and there is so much stigma around rehoming and not enough people talk about how hard puppies are... we are still considering our options but your story made me feel seen. 💛
Hі. Sorry for the spam. I'm from Ukraine. I'm shooting a series of videos about how I journaling during the war. I really need your support. Try to see, maybe you will like)
thank you! i wish so badly i could have a dog because i'm a huge animal person but i just don't think i can while i'm on my own. been thinking about rescuing another cat but don't know if salem and clemmy will like that LOL
I am loving your work Paloma! I've been following you since the panini and I love how your style has changed and grown so much!! Love those paintings & especially the ceramic bowls! The puppy one is so cute omg. 🧡
Your outfits are always the cutest 💖 motivating me to finally stop working in my sweatpants everyday (I wfh so I hardly take the time to get ready any more and has definitely been making me feel bleh 😕)
Paloma I’m so sorry about your dog experience! That’s rough :/ I would encourage you to keep trying! The right dog will find you and fit your lifestyle perfectly. Also adopting an older dog doesn’t always mean they won’t be adaptable, I adopted my dog when she was 1 (so still young) but it was the best thing I’ve ever done and she is the perfect dog for me and fit right into my life so easily! Puppies are a LOT of work. I hope you find your perfect dog!
i will definitely keep trying! the breeder was very understanding and suggested an older pup or adult dog when im ready to try again. i love animals so much and wanna be surrounded by a family of pets lol
great looking tote bags! 😀 dont feel bad about giving up the puppy, they can be A LOT of work and its good you realized this and she will prob go to another good home (and i know a lot of older dogs that get on better with cats then puppies)
I applaud you for being open and honest about the dog adoption issues. That's not easy to talk about and even tougher to admit to yourself that it's just not gonna work out. I'm sure it was heartbreaking, but it sounds like you did the right thing for both of you once you came to the realization that she would be better suited to another home that can give the all the time and attention. Dogs are a bit like toddler humans- very demanding! (which is why we have cats cuz we already have 3 kids!) P.S. the totes are SO cute😻
thank you!! it was really tough for me at first which is why i think i didn’t want to share but looking back im actually really glad i tried it out. i grew up with dogs but it’s very different having 4 other people around to help take care of a dog, and now i know my limits and what i need in order to really raise a pup.
Love the cat painting! Also just one cat was already stressful for my partner and I in the beginning. It can be kind of rough to deal with because I actually would love a bigger family but sometimes you have to compromise, although it's hard. Good to know I'm not alone (in a way)
Every time I see my fav artists painting I want to paint, but I don’t have the space to set up so don’t end up doing so… *sigh* I love how the red underpainting is coming through with the final pieces - they look amazing and I love Clementine in her wee little peach hat - that one is my fav too 🐱🍑✨👌
I rarely comment on UA-cam because I watch on my TV but I had to get on and say do not let your puppy not working out eat you up. I had recently adopted a dog, 1 year old because I didn't think it would shake things up too much in my house because A. We already own and dog and have tons of dogs around and B. I wanted to have more of a family dog because I have 2 kids and my dog is a grumpy child hater (we lover her to death and have had her since she was a few weeks old). Boy was I wrong. He shook my house in ways I never could have imagined and we tried really really hard. We had him for a month. Tried tons of training, treats, activity, toys and distractions and in the end we had to choose our sanity over keeping him because no one was going to be happy in the long run. Some situations just don't work out the way you planned them to and its okay. We live, we learn, we grow. I know pets get returned all the time but I don't think people talk about it enough. They usually sweep it under the rug and act like it never happened. Thanks for talking openly about it.
Sorry about the pup. But thank you for doing the right thing. My two German shepherds had a litter and I'm keeping them. I gave one to my father in law but the other 4 I'm keeping. Training a pup is a big commitment especially 4. 2 are being trained as service dogs one for my son who's autistic and the other for my husband who has extremely high blood pressure. Today he was rushed to the er with a BP of 176/107.
This has made me want to get back into painting but everytime I do it I see the pencil from the sketch underneath. I’ve tried sketching lightly in blue colored pencil and still the same problem… idk lol maybe I should layer it a couple times?
Dogs are lifetime commitments, it's not true that puppies are easier to train, sometimes it's better to get an older dog, and it's better to research which breed is more compatible with your lifestyle
ya i researched breeds which is why i went with dachshund bc i wanted to bring her everywhere and take her out to exercise but it wasn’t specific to that it was the physical inability to raise a pup as a single person 🥲
i think i realized it was time intensive but i didn’t realize how much it would be more so while im on my own. plus in my experience you really don’t know until it’s happening in real life

First ever ceramics?! Those bowls are insanely cute!
6:37 I love the cat painting. It's my dream to adopt a few cats in the future and paint them while they sunbathe 🥰
I love the idea of the dog going around the whole bowl

My favorite pasta for the soup is the concha and ABC
i would totally buy that ceramic hotdog bowl!
hi paloma 🤍 if you don't mind me asking, what type/brand of glaze did you use on those ceramic pieces? they're so cute!!
UNO para el guacamole y otro para tus chips. Estan Lindas tus ceramics.🥰

You should put a towel under the chopping board so it stops slipping around :)
Did you use a kiln to fire your bowls?
When are you selling the tote bags?
next shop update on 5/21!
Where do you order your tote bags from ?
🤝Wonderful and beautiful video, God bless you, may God give you health
