Hi there, I am currently in Barbados Royal and things are nothing like your brilliant video which was filmed a while ago. We have to wait for about an hour to get into any restaurant including breakfast. Getting water in our room is impossible. We bought some from a waitress, she said please do not let my manager see you have this. We asked the gentleman that refreshes our bar for extra water, gave him a tip and he never returned. We rang the concierge service 4 times for it yesterday and still nothing. We are now out of quarantine so can hopefully go out and buy some from a supermarket. The staff are lovely and are very tired, the food when you get it (waiting about 30 minutes between courses) is very tasty. I realise that this is very challenging times but Sandals could really do some simple things to improve. Water is not difficult, normally in all inclusive resorts there is big crates of water everywhere sadly not here.
I am so excited and leave for my wedding Test Drive for Sandals Royal Barbados on the 15th of May. Then for our wedding I got us a round room for ten night :D :D :D :D I am so excited!!!!

You mentioned that the Rondoval suites were the most exclusive. What about the Beachfront Prime Minister One Bedroom Butler Suite with Private pool & tranquility soaking tub?
A lot of restaurants offer fries, especially the lunch venues! But for dinner, it can be found at Butch's Steakhouse, American Tavern and the Merry Monkey pub.
How difficult was it to get beach chairs without butlers? We have been to Montego Bay with butlers and it seemed impossible for club and luxury guests to get beach chairs there.
We never had a trouble (at Barbados or Antigua) to get beach chairs! Maybe Montego Bay has less chairs? My advice for anyone would be to bring towels to chairs before heading to breakfast!
Shorts are not allowed at select restaurants with an “Evening” dress code. It’s not many restaurants and jeans are OK for an evening dress code, so it’s not that fancy!
Hiya, really helpful video thank you! So if you stay at the sandals barbados, you have complete access to the royal side? So you could spend the day at the pool at the Royal for instance, go bowling etc? And would you say the beach is lovely? Bit concerned about the roughness of the sea and lots of seaweed from reading trip advisor reviews? And finally, which hotel would you choose the Antigua or barbados sandals? Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for watching! Correct - stay at one, have access to both. You honestly can't tell where one resort ends and the other begins - it's basically just one large resort! The beach is nice! We didn't have any issues with seaweed when we were there (in October). In terms of Antigua and Barbados - we've been to both and highly recommend both. It honestly depends on the vibe you are looking for in your vacation. I personally think the beach in Antigua is nicer/the sunsets are nicer there as well as its right in front of the beach. Barbados had slightly better restaurants and seemed a little bit more "lively" of a resort verse Antigua being slightly more quiet/romantic. Hope this helps!

It looks as if the resort has really declined since you made this brilliant video. When we booked and looked at your video we booked the resort. Sadly things have deteriorated. Unless you have a butler then you are treated like a second class citizen. The reviews on Trip adviser say it all. Such a shame, keep up the good work guys.

The resort is so big and there are so many pools, beach seats, lounges, etc, that it should be good!

Anything with a Butler is definitely exclusive and extra luxurious!!
