In this video I make a painting inspired by graffiti's with my painting techniques.
I used spray paint, acrylic paint, fluorescent colors, stencils, and a lot of masking tape.
The canvas frame measures 80x80cm (32 "x32")

What are the pins called that you use to make solid colored lines?

Oui et si tu veux savoir quand j'ai peint le LEGO j'ai pas mal hésité à faire un fond totalement noir comme ici mais on n'aurais pas vu le contour noir.

John's one of the best of not the best in Abstract art. Buy his CD's if you want to become a successful Abstract artist 🎨 or even just use some of his techniques for your paintings. Can someone please please please tell me how in the heck to cut the masking tape without cutting right into the canvas??!! I love this piece so much and would love to try something similar. Big fan of your channel and love watching all your videos to get inspiration ;)
@Lauren Chambers don’t apply to much pressure to the canvas, take your time while cutting out the stencil/shape, use short soft cuts instead of hard ones

May I ask what kind of paints do you use? Is it hard body or softer bodied paints. Love your abstracts.
@Lucille Moncrieff I think he uses a little bit of both soft body and medium body acrylic paints
@@jaderene hi, do you know what paint he is using for dripping technique, because I made the same but I mix acrylic paint with water and throw on my paper and after drying it takes texture effect and it was not smooth surface in finish look, thanks
@@saminaishtiaq7888 I do apologize for the late response, John used Amsterdam Acrylic Paints, mixed with regular water, but you can also use a fluid acrylic medium that will allow for the paint to flow more easily, if you’re able to google and search for pouring mediums, I brand that I have used is Liquitex Pouring Medium! This should help you! If you have anymore questions, I would be happy to answer them!

@Cristina Antuna John uses many different brands, Amsterdam acrylic paint, Liquitex acrylic paint
@Aric Balmos either Amsterdam acrylic paint brand or Liquitex acrylic paint brand
