It's Coho time on the Vedder River!!
Crazy busy day again on the river, but the fish were biting! Not too many hatchery Cohos were present yet, but Kevin managed to pull in 2 chromers 😄
We also managed to hook 3 Chinooks to make it our first multi-species day on the river!

Another nice job guys. About 3 weeks ago I fished fisherman's corner for the first time ever since 1991 when I started fishing the Vedder. Some friends of mine convinced me to come down. There were a lot of fish around but I just couldn't do it. I lasted just over an hour and had to get outta there. I couldn't handle the 4' - 5' apart shoulder to shoulder and casting the level wind over head like a spin caster. It was more challenging getting your line in the water than it was catching fish. Good on you guys that you were able to stomach the crowds...you've got me beat. PS...I went upriver and still got a nice spring and hatchery coho...and nobody standing in my pocket 😒

I dominated yesterday. Hooked over half a dozen chums, one jack spring around 10 springs, kept 2 females. also got 2 wild cohos, and kept 2 hatchery cohos. It was a good day for me as well. Glad you guys had something to bring home.
