@@PavanGangalfive Deccan Sultans called Bidar, Bijapur, Ahmednagar, Golconda and also Berar. They attacked Hampi in 1565 and looted them for a long period, approximately six months. You can google it.

The architecture was inspired from konark temple of odisha
Konark temple itself was built by eastern ganga kings who ruled odisha and became great kings, but originally they were from Karnataka belonging to western ganga dynasty and that's why all first odisha temples were in same style as western ganga, and eastern ganga first ruled over andhra before coming to odisha so their first official language was telugu, only later as they settled in odisha they made odiya official
