Tutorial 080 Section Effect for Cropping in Magix Movie Studio and Video Pro X

This tutorial shows how to use the Section Effect in Magix Movie Studio and Video Pro X to crop images and video clips. It explains the difference between cropping with the Section effect and zooming using the Size/Position effect.
Movie Studio 2024 Platinum was used but everything is the same in all versions up to 2025, with the exception of the Size/Position effect in older versions that was changed in 2022 and Video Pro X 13.

I want my video to become small and move into the corner with another video playing then, think Ocean's 11. How do I do that? I can't find an animation feature that changes the size of a video.

Hi. Watch my Tutorial 039 on Size/Position/Rotation (I recommend watching all of the SPR parts) then Tutorial 045 for examples, and Tutorial 047 for keyframing.
