Onepunch disbanded cos one left to sign an exclusive contract with yg And lastly 5. He join produce 101 but he didn't make it in the final top 11 even tho he was the most outstanding and talented in produce 101
I'm not denying Samuel's hard work because his is a very sad story but it shows how much perseverance he has in him, at least NOW he's rocking as a solo artist. But...if I'm not wrong his mom made him leave seventeen since "he was too young when actually it was because 1punch was a better option for him since it would display his skills more. Also I believe ONE's contract with Brave Ent had ended while Samuel's still was intact so he decided to shift to YG, which honestly suits him more. The YG image suits him more, it would've been awesome I'd Sam went too but you never know what happens behind the scenes. And lastly , for pd101 I will agree that he got the short end of the stick like LOOK AT HOW TALENTED HE IS istg sometimes these shows eliminate the good people. So yeah, point is , both are doing well now at least. Thankfully. I'm happy for BOTH of them.
Watching this vid again after Produce 101 really is like a punch in the stomach...Samuel deserves so much better. From Seventeen, to 1Punch, to Pd101...he's so talented and hardworking, and I'm always going to be angry that he's had to go through so much at such a young age. But the fact that he's still so young after going through 3 "debuts" is a testament to his perseverance and determination. I'm seriously so proud of him. And I'm so glad he's going solo now because he's got the talent, the looks, everything. Wishing Samuel all the best in his debut ❤️
Think about the bright side. He had already gained so much attention at such a young age, even before he debut. So when he officially debut, there will be hype and he would probably do very well after that.

He finally found people, friends, his age that share his passion for music. Samuel does have this passion but he was way too young and is far from Jaewon's style, just look at haeyahe's lyrics, he couldn't have wrote it with Samuel. Also now One is in studio with guys like Hanbin, Mino, Bobby... that are experimented artists and known for their skills in composing, writing, producing and obviously rapping. He is way more comfortable in this atmosphere than the one he was with Samuel because obviously the age gap was too strong and he couldn't work on his rap the same way he does now, he couldn't discuss about all these producing stuff ect. One is so so happy right now, why try to make it look like not when he found such close friends in YG?
