I did it again x2 and the results were satisfying. A double impeller centrifugal water pump is probably the most powerful water pump I have ever made.

This is a certified "rigid flange coupling" moment

Just to clarify, this principle effecively can't make(much) more pressure than the single Impeller version. The two static pressures of the Imellers are pressing against each other.
To generate a higher system pressure and don't want to build a multi stage pump like a KSB Multitec, you need two pumps in series. The second one has to be slightly smaller to compensate for the lower volume flow.

Two pumps in series is lterally a multi stage pump ! Also the impellars should be swapped as they are backwards. If the water flows down the curve from the centre outwards it should be directed toward the exit with it's inertia helping rather than stalling & being squeezed against the plenum.

I would love to see a constant water supply to the pump to keep the water level just right. Then a side by side comparison of the pump flow and distance compared to a garden hose.

It’s funny (and to me, endearing) how much your English accent sounds like that of Finnish people. I knew of course that Estonian and Finnish are closely related, but I’ve never been to Estonia yet-I guess I really should! I love Finland, and I might just fall in love with Estonia as well.

Great job on the pump. I got quite a chuckle out of the "press fit" text overlay and the "rigid flange coupling" audio insert (and callback to previous episodes). Well done.

Use some silicone on the flanges of the cover before installing and it should take care of the glue need. Looks like it would make a good proportion system for a small water craft.

You should test out water jets, they have really high flow rates over 100l/min in most cases one adapted to be used as a pump would be awesome.

You could add a 'wet' cover over the gears to stabilize the ends of the axles and limit the splashing back toward the electrics. Are you using high end bearings like ceramic?

Those gears stop pretty quick, maybe you should create a housing and put a light oil in there, something like a 0 weight? Could help make it run faster and help protect the bearings.
