I wanna get rid of like the split ends and like the hair that still stands out even if i braid em up also wat type of wax or gel should I use when I’m doing them
Make sure to wet your hair and use some sort of wax so your hair is fully extended and stays in place. If this does not work, then you gotta wait little more til it gets longer
With straight hair, it’s pretty hard, they gotta be really long and tight. If they’re too short and straight, any means of touching your hair such as water, sweating, sleeping, scratching your head all will mess up your braids. The best way is to not wash your hair and use hair safe aromatic oils to combat bacteria that may cause odor. If you have coily/corse hair, then just use braid shampoo and rinse. The braids will still look clean. If you have short straight hair and braids and you INSIST on washing your head, I recommend the braid shampoo and misting water onto your head and sun dry, or pat dry extremely carefully. After, put some mousse onto your hair, put a Durag on for about 20-30 minutes or until dry. ( I think you can blow dry with durag on) hope this helps
