    How did u actually remove thr JB? I have to add a linbus wire to A34*1B..pin 9...but not sure how to access it. G

      Remove the glove box first. Then you’ll have access to the jbe. Remove the connectors. After that unscrew the two lock Screws.

    did you have to get the new jbe coded?and did you happen to hear any clicking of the relays?

      Yes. When the problem starts, you’ll hear a clicking sound. You have to code JBE after replacing.

    What year is your X3? I have a 2013 X3 that has a crank, no start issue and I have ruled out all fuses, the ISM, and the wiring harness connections. I am thinking DME is bad, but perhaps this problem could be related to what you were seeing.

      Pl do a scan to get an error code and start from there. For a diesel engine, cranking but not starting would be a problem of fuel starvation.
