I feel so bad for her abu. Her dad was gonna take his time for her interests and was trying to fit in at the con. Honestly seeing his character he probably would have let them roam around on their own the second they walked in.
Honestly i agree with her. She is 16 not 12, it's embarrassing to go with your parents when you just want to hang with a friend. She came across callous and unappreciative but they're both valid.
They just didn’t want her to go without an adult. The costume wouldn’t be a big deal because they’re not that conservative since they don’t have Kamala in a head covering. They just thought the costume would be a nice gift and were hurt she didn’t like it
