I don’t have a tremor, but I have carpal tunnel which makes my hands/wrists hurt and shake. Also, I have other health problems that make me a bit shaky. It’s a bit annoying but not horrible. I just go slow. If I paint, though, it makes my strokes shaky and blotchy. But my professors love it! They want me to be a painter because of my unique strokes

I have two guinea pigs currently! Percy, an Abyssinian, and Paul, a skinny pig! I used to have a Peruvian-Abyssinian named Pigget, but she passed away in March at 7.5 years old. :( I too introduced my hubby to guinea pigs though! He loves them just as much as I do now, haha!
I constantly shake, it's mostly my hands and arms but my whole body to. And I find anchoring my arm and wrist or my elbow helps but it's very easy to hurt your wrist if you use it too much. But with my sketches I just let it do whatever then I clean up with an eraser and If I do line art (I don't often do line art) I just go really slow and keep my wrist on the table then rotate the paper so I'm not smudging it

I had an uncle Eugene and I do have tremors from MS. If they are too bad it's a no art day but mostly I concentrate and confine my drawing area like you do and it helps a lot!! Just know you are not alone Steph!!

I used to have two Guinea pigs. They were called Poppy and Daisy and they learnt the sound of the fridge opening. So when ever we opened the fridge they would start squeaking for treats like carrots. It was really cute.
I have been diagnosed with essential tremors and my confidence in drawing took a nose dive. I've recently rediscovered my love for drawing and the biggest thing i have found that has helped me has been to put my whole arm, from elbow to wrist, flat on a hard surface. This helps me to stabilise my hand. Im not sure if this is possible to do. Also I have found that the thicker the pen used the less noticeable the wobbly lines. This is all from personal experience and I hope some of this might help you. Keep up the great work guys and I look forward to seeing more great videos in the future.

I had an American Guinea pig named Rocky when I was younger. He was an adorable grumpy old boy who liked to cuddle next to me when he slept. He didn't seem to like anyone except for me and my mom, even though he always looked happy. (And smiled for the camera, he was precious) He was my best friend for about 8 years. Pigs are the best!
I actually know a guy who draws with moderate tremors. He's adapted his style to them, and honestly, he's happier with his art now. He just goes slow, uses smaller movements, and anchors his arm more on a table/surface. The way he's adapted to it has just become his signature :)
I have really wobbly hands and what I do to help steady them a bit is that I hold my breath and ink small areas/parts at a time. The lines are still a little wobbly but it does help a bit!

I used to draw with nothing in mind when I was younger, but now that I do this after work and on the weekends.. I make sure things are planned out. I tend to doodle freely more in the down times at work. Most calming supply... I would say sewing book pages. I can do it without thinking, and it takes hours on end while watching TV.
With shaky hands I've learned that taking a deep breath and holding it when I'm doing lines or circles or anything really that u need to be a certain way it helps ^-^
Ballpoint pen is my most relaxing medium. I love just the very lose sketchy look when I do lay back and sketch in ballpoint. ALSO! I’ve been drinking Earl Grey Lavender Black tea!
To be honest I love doodling while watching your videos! When I don't feel motivated to draw I always play some of your videos and always end up working on something in my sketchbook :D

Posca pens are the best relaxing art supply because you can both go super loose and sketchy and it'll look cool because of the bright colors, but also get super clean shapes. It's also really easy to fix mistakes as long as you have a white pen.

I find working in ballpoint pen to be really relaxing, and I like to do these abstract designs without a plan in ballpoint pen, super relaxing for me.
