Same here! not still over it and I do not want to be over it. I went through all the human emotions possible in those almost three hours. Mindblowing, master piece, striking, timely, all the adjectives possible. I also have to say that I love each of the actors, all of them so special. Besides, BONG Joan-Ho seems to be such a humble man.
Though I am a bit angry in regards that people (and journalists) are so obsessed about the nationality of the film, the film should be analyzed beyond its nationality. It is such an accurate portrayal of todays biggest problem of society, inequality, the problem that originates the rest of the other big problems: physical and mental health, crime, global warming. So, I wish journalists should stop being so obsessed about how he made the setting (of course super amazing and worth recognizing it) but I believe he should start taking a step beyond with the film. The movie is just such an excellent material to contribute to the global discussion and reflection on the development model we live in and the role each of us play on it. Should be screened in public spaces and be discussed in universities. BONG Joan-Ho has just given humanity an excellent material to start taking big steps in changing the model of development. Cinema is just such a universal language and when it is done with this quality and finesse I am sure it can be a tool to social change.
GiantSandles after seeing all of Tarantino’s films, I have come to the conclusion that I don’t like his movies. Never did perhaps only one, pulp fiction, but once upon a time sealed it for me. Bong joon ho. Is just getting better with time.
Can't wait to see this film! I love all of his films. Bong Joon-Ho has his unique, revolutionary vision, and delivers a very compelling story that we can feel related to.
after I watched this conference, I realized that it would be such a terrible experience to do a decent job as a translator especially when it happened in Korean... translator! you did a nice job even though you skipped around 35% of responses from Korean attendances.
I love how he was butchering their names and Bong Joon Ho told the journalist "Good job :D", while the other actors were trying not to laugh hahahahahahah
I thought the drunk scene was brilliant. You can tell the women rule the family in that scene especially when the mother reacts to getting grabbed by her husband when she calls him a cock roach. This scene pre empts the end and shows his inner hatred and anger at the world for being lower class. The girl is pure class at acting drunk. Hilarious scene.
I liked it too because it shows the anger and aggression the two had at how hard and unfair they’re life was but they looked at each other deeply in their eyes and saw that they only had each other to get through the hardship. The wife looked like she was about to cry but she hysterically laughed instead because at that moment they were in a good place and for once felt on top of the world when it was just the family drinking and being in the house
It's crazy how for that one question, his response couldn't be translated because "there was no English translator" but the translator has been speaking English the whole time
Awesome movie and cast and crew, disliked just for that voice overlaps, couldnt watch, missed favourite movie cast interviews. Terrible voice over, subtitles would ve been better
Watched the movie few days ago i am still not over how good and original it was. It literally left me speechless

I've never seen a movie before whereby all the actors are knitted together so perfectly. They are a solid team.
Park so Dam, the best actress in Korea..beautiful and versatile...love her so much..
Knowing that there are probably a fair few people who went to the premiere for Tarantino's new film and then this back to back is crazy

They are all so beautiful

Edit: Oh boy. Hell yeah. Palme D'or Winner
oh dear, why not just english subtitles than this language mess up. Great Film and I'm still thankful for the PC
I may be wrong but I think this was streaming live at the time so oral translation would be easier and faster
박소담진짜 이쁘다ㅠㅠ

영어 통역 번역 소리가 너무 커서 우리말 그대로 답변을 듣고 싶은데 잘 안들려서 조금 아쉽지만 드문드문 알아들을 수 있어서 다행 ㅎㅎ

GREAT MOVIE AND EVERYONE MUST WATCH THIS MOVIE. RICH AND POOR...
Lee sun kyun ♥️😍
Love from India....
They should pronounce actors' name properly
하... 배우 이름 발음 좀 어떻게 익혔으면 ...ㅠㅠ
It's crazy how for that one question, his response couldn't be translated because "there was no English translator" but the translator has been speaking

The English translation was added later. They probably held off on translating that bit as Bong Joon Ho was speaking in English.
Je me faisait une joie, avec une traduction en francais, mais c'est en anglais!!! C'est quoi ca??? Le festival de Cannes est en France.
In Korea they called Spielberg the Bong Joon Ho of Hollywood.
Ok..ok..I just made that up.
Haha but sounds accurate.cheers for Oscar for original screenplay !
I thought that in Korea they call Bong the Korean Spielberg 😮
im getting headache watching this thx to the english translator 😭
unexpected part 12:21
기자회견이 총체적 난국이었네 ;;;;;;

Wow trilingual translator unbelievable! Not perfect but impressive
it’s so uncomfortable to hear and watch cause the live sound and the translator go out together

Parasite it's make me so curious.
It is a shame, there is no English Translator!
i have no idea what's going on 21:00-21:30, but funny
Dinar Abdullin it’s a homage to a scene in the movie when they first find the basement.
got it, thanks!

This is so fucking disorienting. I’m not in the UN and I don’t want to be. Just please put subs lmao
Awesome movie and cast and crew, disliked just for that voice overlaps, couldnt watch, missed favourite movie cast interviews. Terrible voice over, subtitles would ve been better
새 영화도 또 같은 배역 파라싸이트 에 나오는 남녀 스텝으로 만들면 재미 없지요.
BTS+ blackpink
Army + Blink 💜
Wow... the french is so annoying...why not just do it in English... it’s international...
