- Johnny Weir skating in Sun Valley Ice Show 2009. He was magnifcent as usual. He also skated to Lady GaGa's Poker Face which really rocked the rink! He met with fans after the show, signed autographs and was as nice and as personable as could be. This is his new routine for exhibition this year. This was ALMOST as good as Ave Maria but, Ave Maria is still my favorite. Johnny Weir is still the BEST skater in the world! Sorry that the video is blurry in parts. Enjoy!!!!!!
I just saw this. I love this song and routine! This is the true Johnny Weir. He skates with his whole heart and soul. I would of loved to have been there to see him.
I feel the same way you do!! Thank you for such a beautiful reply. I don't care for Lysacek's skating. To me Johnny is the true champion and what it was just to see him skate and meet him was a moment I'll never forget. Johnny is the TOTAL package!!!!

Johnny has such beauty in his soul. He actually seems to become the music. He really deserved Gold in Vancouver; his technique was far superior to Plushenko's, who's past his prime. Johnny skates with more "heart" and emotion than Lysacek.He demonstrated true "class" when the crowd booed the judges' decision; Johnny quieted them with a hand gesture. Looking forward to hearing of new projects he's now working on. Johnny, we love you!!
