The smartest thing i have seen anyon do in swamp cave, just when you come out of the water, they placed an ocean platform to the right, where only the corner was sticking out. Not meshed, could still hit it with whatever but it ensured that raiders would never get foundation control of the water/most of the tunnel leading to the water. 140K HP spam, protected by a wall. Also stops ppl from turret capping you and you can always push turrets in the water.
