Sida's Story

Sida, a single mother of five, struggled daily to make ends meet. Her family often survived on just three eggs per meal, relying on neighbours for additional food and help during illnesses. When Sida first sought assistance from the Village Hive after separating from her husband, she had no job, income, or adequate housing. The Village Hive provided immediate relief by supplying food for three meals a day and securing a rental home for the family. They also provided groceries, daily necessities, and school supplies. With their support, Sida and her children found safety and stability, while a future plan was developed for long-term independence.
