Carrie, I honestly don't know how you do all this every day. You're getting a standing ovation from me and also hoping you are taking time just for yourself.
Carrie, great idea about Vlogmas! I honestly don’t know how you manage everything, especially while being pregnant. Sometimes I struggle to keep up with all the steps of reselling every day. I do it part-time ... I have other streams of income, so balancing everything can be tough. I’m still trying to find the right balance, especially when it comes to time management....
Glad you’re enjoying Vlogmas! My time management habits have been built over many many years being self employed. It’s not easy still but it does help get more stuff done!
@@carrieathome I’ve been reselling since May, so I still have a lot to learn. Hopefully, with experience, I’ll improve my time management. So far, I’ve sold 371 items since I started and currently have 350 active listings.
Carrie, you’re such an inspiration! We’re 2 weeks from our due date with our first and I love watching your videos to remind me that there is a way that I could stay home with my kiddos 💜 trying to get my business up and running, thanks for the encouragement!
Been waiting on a baby bump view!!! So glad you included that. Congrats!!! Love your videos and the tip and tricks are great. Been a reseller for many years but I am still learning new things about items I do not normally sell or things I stay away from (clothing being the main one). Where I live, we do not have a bins and the thrift stores are extremely overpriced, so sourcing is harder. I usually buy storage units or buy out estates, so I sell a ton of random things. I hope to one day have packages flowing out like you do, but with the random nature of my items it is harder to get repeat customers. Having sellers like you that encourage other sellers to keep pushing helps more than you realize. Thanks for what you do and Happy Holidays to you and your family!!
Glad you enjoyed the baby bump! I don’t document them much so I made sure to get it included :) Determination and perseverance even when it’s all against you will take you so much farther than giving up. You’ve got this 💪
Love the artsy angle on the thumbnail! My butt stayed home yesterday. One of the thrift stores I go to was closed, the other ones had sales going. I've had the pleasure of working black Fridays (and one Thanksgiving night from 6 to 10). I know how it can get. Right now I don't need the stuff that bad since I'm not done with my shed yet. Wiring the building is the next step after I finish installing the door knob and deadbolt. Plus, all the insanity that ensues on the day. One thing we all need to keep in mind. This time of year, people are not donating as much as they do in the spring and summer. I've noticed that in all the stores I go to. And this is just something that is cyclical. But as you mentioned, getting something is better than getting nothing. The growth months in inventory are necessary to even out the slow months.
I am struggling with time management organizing getting things done sitting on the death pile. It's been hard recently.... I know it can be done, it is possible. Thanks for the video❤
Hi how many items do you list daily on eBay ? How many listings do you have now ? What are your average sales per day ? Do you and hubby do this full time ? Such an inspiration!Ty ! Love this channel 🎉happy holidays
I list 30 items onto our main store and now 5 items onto the shirt store every day. I have under 200 items on the shirt store and under 1700 on our main store :)
That largely depends on the desirability of your items, how competitive your field is, and what you’re comfortable paying per item to promote it. Some items don’t need promotion and others may need it to get noticed. I suggest if you believe you have to promote your items, start at the minimum amount (2%) and from there slowly until you find your sweet spot.
How do you deal with returns Carrie? We offer "Free Returns" in our ebay store, so it pushes us up to "top rated" sellers. We include all measurements with our pictures for clothing, So when somebody decides to return because "it did not fit", do I deduct that "free" shipping from buyers total return amount? Me & My Wife are battling about this, she says thats the cost of doing biz on ebay and we just have to pay the cost on the return shipping no matter what the reason is for the return, but I say why should i pay on the return shipping if i gave the buyer all the measurements in pictures!!....Do we charge a re-stocking fee instead? help
I also include measurements in my listings and free returns. I do it because as a buyer myself, I like the option to return an item if it ended up not looking good when trying it on vs being stuck with it and wasting my money. As a seller, I can always sell that item again when I receive it back. You don’t have to offer returns if you don’t want to though. But it may steer buyers away seeing the “no returns accepted” on your listing.
No but I wish! We haven’t found a good one in our area and are planning on traveling out to see if we can find one. It seems most Midwest flea markets are really antique markets/stores.
Hi do you have a video about how you send offers on eBay? I’ve tried to do it but haven’t seemed to find a way to do you have to have a business account?
Thank you for wearing presentable clothing as you make these videos. Some others wear things with stains and just whatever they rolled out of bed with, and it creeps me out and I can’t watch it. lol your dedication to presentation is very much appreciated.

I rest when I can! Thank you :)

It can be done! Just have to be intentional with your time and efforts. Congrats on the baby addition! 🎉
Loved this! Thanks for sharing your week. ❤️
Thank you! 😊

Happy holidays to you too! 🎄
What a beautiful cat ❤❤❤
Thank you! We adopted her from a rescue shelter!

Thank you! Yea there’s a bit of factors working against the sourcing but it’ll be fine later on :)
😊
I started my own eBay because of you and in my first 2 weeks I sold 3500$
Wow….Congrats! 😮. How much product did you buy in the 1st 2 weeks to sell that much?! What do you sell?
Wow! That’s so impressive. Hopefully you got a good chunk of profit out those sales too! Multiply those dollars 💸
Went out sourcing yesterday, our Goodwill was 50% off all donated items. Got some great finds I think.
Nice sale!
Awesome video
Hi Carrie. In what cases do you wash clothes before posting versus just posting?
If the item is preowned and machine washable, it gets washed. If the item is dry clean only or hand wash only, I leave it for the buyer to launder. 👍
@ thank you so much!
I am struggling with time management organizing getting things done sitting on the death pile. It's been hard recently.... I know it can be done, it is possible. Thanks for the video❤
Do you have a link to the clear bags you use? I am having a terrible time finding them
I have all links to my organization stuff in my “organize like a pro” video :)
@@carrieathome Thank you. I knew I watched a video about it but couldn't remember when or which one.

What is the best % to promote at on EBay?

Do you go to fleamarkets for inventory?
No but I wish! We haven’t found a good one in our area and are planning on traveling out to see if we can find one. It seems most Midwest flea markets are really antique markets/stores.
I work at Pizza Hut in Michigan part time.... We enjoyed it lol
I bet pizza making can be therapeutic and enjoyable!
Hi, I have questions i can use PO Box address for selling ebay and poshmark
Yup! Just remember that you’ll also need to go to the post office to pick up returns or non delivered packages.
she could be easily model
That pizza looked so good
They made it with love this time around lol
Aww da bump has arrived ❤
Proud bump moment! 😄
Hi do you have a video about how you send offers on eBay? I’ve tried to do it but haven’t seemed to find a way to do you have to have a business account?
ebay should pop up with a “send offers” prompt when you get watchers on your items. No special store needed for that
@ wow it’s actually working now, thanks!😂
I have a sticker for you that I forgot to send from the first day you mentioned wanting to sticker it.🤦♀️
lol nice! 😂
How can you take a family vacation ? Ebay need every day actions... and it's only 2 of you 🤔😊
We just prepare ahead with listings and then ship stuff out when we’re back :)
Seriously how the HECK do you do it all????
