That's a smooth flying heli! My dream scale heli would be the Swedish Vertol with the splinter camo. Loved seeing, and HEARING them as a kid. Could hear them coming from miles away! 😊
There seems to be a small but constant left yaw input being applied by the flight controller to keep the heli from yawing right. I wonder if one of the rotors is carrying more weight than the other? Or perhaps the blades are different between the two rotors, causing one rotor to have more rotational drag than the other? It seems one rotor is producing more torque than the other (yaw). Edit: regardless, that's a great flying model! I really enjoyed watching it fly! Thanks for sharing.
I asked him about that too as I saw the disc’s were tilted when it was in a straight level flight path, but I can’t remember what he said and I didn’t get that conversation on video….
The flight controller is me! The left rudder required is a function of speed - not required in hover. On the full size the rear pylon has some “rudder” built in.
Beautifully flown and well photographed. Thank you for sharing. Jim
