TOKIT Akuapure T1 Ultra Ice Countertop Water Filter! Back It Now On Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/tokitomnicook/akuapure-t1-ultra-ultimate-lce-water-filter-solution?ref=746nbv 🔥
I backed this product on Kickstarter and it cost me over $500. I received my T1 Ultra a few days ago, and unfortunately, it is not living up to Tokit's advertising claims. To start, the user manual is poorly written. If the manufacturer struggled with the English language, they could have used Al tools to improve the clarity of the instructions. Regarding the unit itself, despite claims that it dispenses 20 ounces of cold water, I only get about 8 ounces before it stops. At that point, a loud motor kicks in to cool the water in the reservoir, which takes about 15 minutes. After that, I can attempt to dispense another 8 ounces. Additionally, the motor runs every 45 minutes even when the unit is not in use. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I suspect that the few positive reviews on UA-cam were from influencers who were either paid or received the unit for free to provide favorable feedback.
Personally I would stay well clear of TOKIT products. They have a very poor track record with product development, quality control and customer support. Just look at the disaster with their OMNI cooker.
In our previous crowdfunding campaigns, we were inexperienced and our products were not well prepared. This time we are well prepared and with the crowdfunded discounted price for additional cartridges, we will be sending out new products on time in November!
