@@tommysandoval8198 You just have to hit the street and look for locations that might be a good fit for a machine...or for machines that don't look well maintained so that maybe you can replace their current vendor. Love your videos. Thank you for all the great info. Quick question, I have a royal 660-9 coke machine and for some reason column 11 is depensing two cans?. Thats the only column that doing this. Just wondering if you have a quick solution to this problem. It's not getting stuck. The cable goes twice to depend two can.
You either have your product depth set wrong for that selection or you need to make the drop sensor more sensitive because it is not detecting the first can.
Thanks for the great info! Just bought a small route. I have 2 older APs. 113 and a 6600. They both sit next to Dixie Narco 501E Sodas so they should be pretty easy adding readers. Do you recommend updating the AP 113 and AP 6600 snack machines to use readers and what's the best way to do it?
Congratulations on your new route. You should look into InOne boards if you want to update older machines. www.inone.tech/ Just make sure the machine is in a high traffic area and is worthy of updating to a credit card reader.
Hi, I live in Sacramento,Ca. I want to buy a combo vending machine with Nayax credit card reader. I am just wondering which company should I buy from? What kind of snacks and drinks should I buy? Thank you very much if you can answer my questions.
I bought all my machines used using Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. You can always search for vending machine dealers in your area. As for products...start with your basics and see what sells best....coke, diet coke, mountain dew, doctor pepper, doritos, lays, fritos, etc. Every area and demographic is different. Popcorners sell good in our faculty room, but it might not sell for you. It is a lot of trial and error.
Just got a Seaga combo... its working well and I paid 700. I sure hope it holds up long enough to recoup my investment. I had no idea they had a bad reputation.
700 isn't too bad so hopefully you can recoup that before you sell it. When you see machines for sale, ask for advice on them at the vendiscuss.net forum before you buy them...you will get lots of honest advice.
Can u do a video where you get your credit card readers best place and how they work? Been thinking about installing one but idk how it would work to collet my money ?
If your machine makes at least $50 a week, a credit card reader would be a good investment. You can either go with USAT or Nayax. I use Nayax. It will cost you around 250 per unit up front...then you pay around $8 per unit a month for the connection...and around 7% of each sale to the credit card companies. The place to install the readers will vary per machine, but I install my readers on the point of sale window above the bill acceptor. Good luck!
I guess it depends on which model rowe. I don't personally own one, but there are lots of them out there. Post what model you are considering on the vendiscuss.net forum and see what people say.
I have a older Dixie Narco 501E Royal Crown pop machine and it's started spitting out a pop as soon as you put the money in. It doesn't give you time to make a selection. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks
Does it always spit out the same selection of pop or does it vary? If it is always the same ones, I would try disconnection the selection switch to that selection and see if that stops it from vending. If it does, just switch out that switch. It could also be that the brake on that motor needs cleaning or the vend switch on that motor needs replacing.
@@HappyVending Thanks so much for answering my question. What if it is a combination of 2 different selections that it spits out, alternating between the 2 selections each time.
And do you happen to have or know of a website/phone number that I can call to get help or tips when I do encounter problems with my Dixie Narco vending machines, I have 3 different pop machines.
I will do that the next time I add a reader to one of my machines. In the meantime, I did go over adding a new product in the Nayax software during my Cherry Vanilla Zero video.
If you tested both the compressor and relay and they check out, my next guess would be the temp sensor. If that isn't it the issue it would most likely be the control board. How did you test the compressor?
The machine will say "sold out" if it tries to vend three times from that column unsuccessfully....which means the drop sensor did not detect product dispensing from the column. Open the door to the machine and then close the door...that will reset the "sold out" display. Then try vending from the column. If the machine vends three products, and then goes into "sold out" on the display, then you know the drop sensor needs to be adjusted or replaced. If it doesn't vend from the column, there is probably a jam that you need to clear.
Once again . great info . thanks for sharing.
Your top 5 is right on.
Excellent tips Bill. Real solid. I would add customer service to the list, but that entails a lot and is probably best dealt with in a separate video.
Thanks Robert. Good idea for an addition...customer service is important!
Thanks Bill

NBS in Williston SC. A former student designed the graphics.
My machine is 65deg the relay is fine and the compressor works just fine could it be a bad temp sensor
