I agree 100%. I think she is what regular shopdisney doll should look like (this days, I am not even comparing her to the older dolls :( ). Ariel in her kiss the girl dress could be the best Ariel doll, yet she is just pretty...far from perfection. There was many custom version of this outfit that I liked better. I looooooove her face, she is perfect and I can't imagen better :) but for me this doll is pass (at least for the e ba y prices). I am waiting for the the shopdisny version. I hope one day saks will be back with their LE disney dolls, they are just pure perfection! 🤍Thanks for review, it help me a lot! And I happy to see you back with your reviews.
You said it so well! “Pretty but not perfect.” She could have been the perfect companion piece to the 2019 D23 Pink Ariel with this design coz the design is gorgeous. It’s just the execution and the quality on the final doll that was kinda lackluster for her. 🥹 But I’m still glad we got to have her. Good luck to you for the regular release this November! I will also try for her. 🩵 Thank you for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it and I’m glad to be able to find some time to film a few reviews. 🫶🏼
I could not agree more with all you said in your review. I think Disney lowered the bar this year about these D23 releases. It's sad because as collectors we expect better ... However, I love this doll, the way she looks in her box. And we have been waiting for a LE Blue dress Ariel for so long! Now I can' wait the coming Masquerade Ariel doll! her face is so cute! And also the Mattel one! So many gorgeous Ariel this year!😍 Thanks for this fantastic review, it makes me glad to have this doll even more.💖
Agree! This is not really d23 quality. Some years ago regular disney store limited edition dolls looked like that. Also I hate how they made her bang. Really weird.
I also want to add that this bow is so bad. I have kiss the girl set and the bow there is so big and nice. Also the bow on Holiday Ariel doll is so much better than this one.
Hi, I really enjoyed your review 😊 Ariel is my favorite as well, and I agree that the details aren’t up to par for a D 23 release. She’s still gorgeous though, and I want to try to get the regular release.
@@jenessahicks8012 I'm not sure yet. They haven't announced it officially yet. But November is likely as it's the movie's anniversary month. I will update once they do! :)
@@ChaymieCreatesHey, I lucked out and got the general release of Ariel today 😊 Itwas my birthday yesterday so I was treating myself since Ariel is my favorite princess. 😊 I completely checked out at 8:08, and then at 8:09, I refreshed her page and she was sold out. That was crazy.!!!!
They are cutting on cost, to keep more profits. It is too much work to make a real corset and lacing it. Plus they figure why make underneath shirt and waste material if most collectors keep the doll inside the box. The outfits are becoming more practical, I get it. Beautiful doll anyways.
It’s so upsetting how the price and quality of these keep going in opposite directions. It’s been years since there was a LE doll I thought was worth buying. Really unfortunate because no matter what these dolls will sell so Disney will keep making them in this cheap quality without consequences.
I JUST bought Winter Belle Limited Edition doll from 2016… I literally paid $700… (which is EXTREMELY cheap for her.. she’s been going for $1100+ easily)…. I’m sooo blown away by the incredible DETAIL of this doll that I’ve not seen in ANY of the recent (witching past 4 years) Limited Edition dolls I’ve bought… Covid and company greed has truly f’d up everything. All companies decided “hey… people will still pay!” And raised their prices for EVERYTHING which is suuuuch BS
@ 100% agree. Those dolls were what a real limited edition item should be. You would think a billionaire company could spare a few extra funds for this.

Hi!
The whole is so that the piece can be reversed once it’s been sewn.
Thanks for the video ❤

the hand mold is still bigger than the face?
