- The storms screaming through NW Minnesota were getting pretty intense with the storm moving at 70 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. I'm surprised, but grateful the screen house didn't fly away!

Please stay safe and weather aware. One week ago, we had a tornado just drop here in Michigan and took the life of a 3 yr old boy and put his mother in critical care. They claim it developed too quickly for sirens or alerts.
Saying a prayer for you. And keep checking with any weather alerts you have.

Thank you, Judy. It's frightening how fast something can happen. This storm has headed east of us and is over Lake Superior and Wisconsin now. I hope it doesn't hit you next. 🙏
We have another storm tracking towards us from Canada and it looks like it may hit while we're sleeping. I think everyone that was in the path of this is waiting until tomorrow to assess any damage. I heard a couple of people said their vehicles got nailed with the hail. Have a blessed evening. 😊

Isn't that a surprise. Hope nothing was damaged such as hail dents in a vehicle.
Hi Sheila. Fortunately, both of our vehicles were in the garage. Friends of ours did have hail damage to their vehicles. I'll go out in the morning to assess any damage. We've got another storm tracking for us and it will probably hit in a few hours while we're sleeping.

What?! Praise God! I got home from my walk just in time before the lightning started. We just sat down to eat supper and it sounded like something big shattered right outside the window. It was the first hunk of hail that hit the tile on the patio table. We got up to look and see what happened and all of a sudden it came pelting down! I called Skywarn NOAA in Duluth to report it.
I hate hail!
Hi Susan. I haven't gone outside yet to assess the damage. We've got another storm front heading our way that will probably hit shortly after I go to sleep. Normally we get pea sized hail. Reports from all over were showing large hail. I picked some up from the ground and they were easily bigger than a 50 cent piece! Hmm, I guess that's about the size of a golf ball. 😣
