- Dudhsagar waterfall is the most popular waterfall in the the Goa.
I believe if you haven’t visited this amazing waterfall during your Goa trip then you missing most beautiful and scenic attraction of Goa. We all know that Goa is more popular for beautiful beaches but out of it this is must visit place.
I have already mentioned this place in Day 3 of Goa series but making separate video have three reasons.
1. This place is so beautiful like paradise that it deserves separate video
2. I have provided more information in this separate video
3. During Lockdown I don’t have anything else to do 😉
Dudhsagar Waterfall is almost 90 kms far from North Goa (Calangute Beach 🏖) which might take 2 hours to reach here.
In Goa, there is a full day package available for Dudhsagar Waterfall, Spice Plantations and Bom Jesus Church, Panjim.

By proposing high transmission lines which are not necessary via Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary, by cutting numerous tress and bulldozing the area for logistics needed to transport necessary equipment and material.

This the worst place to visit trust me. The way to waterfall is worst. And there is no facility. Idk what forest department of goa trying to do. And there is tracking omg i almost fall to my death
I am native Goan and jiat hate it when someone puts up false information. I have been going to Doodhsagar waterfall since childhood.The entry ticket is not 500 Rs, Entry ticket is only 20 Rs, But the locals here create scene as if the entry ticket is 500 Rs and you have to hire Jeep only for it. however If you just go a little ahead from where the Jeep tickets are available , there is small forest department checkpost where you 20 Rs ticket, But here th e imp thing is you have trek and go to the waterfall , tye trek is 1.5 hr to 2 hrs. The jeep is also not Govt jeep. They are pvt jeep operators . They create scene as if it is compulsory to hire jeep and go. But it is not so. You simply buy 20 rs forest dept ticket and trek and go

I was about to fall from one of the rock in the river. And fortunately, somebody pulled me back. My heart was beating so fast, I couldn't thank him. I can only pray to God to bless that fellow.
Yes, the way and Swimming area at fall is slippery. So always take care whenever you go to such places. 😊
Always be careful, as there are many cases of drowning near waterfalls due to under water currents. Tc

Then don't go to the bottom of the waterfall. Go up to the railway bridge. But it's a bit Risky swimming there ( chances of being pulled by the water into the fall) BUT THE VIEW IS AMAZING. Don't have to pay anything to anyone and no crowd. You'll get amazing pictures too. I just went there yesterday. But you'll have to walk for 15km on the railway tracks and walk back (we hopped on a moving train on the way back 😜).

You Can from Karnataka side also....Just reach Castle Rock Station and 14 kms on Railway track(or by train) and u will see real doodh sagar water fall ......

@Julia Demerz Catch Vasco express it will stop at Dudhsagar station and By walk 1km Dudhsagar water falls and then reach kulem by walk 12km walk on railway track.

Omg ,this place hasn't changed a bit,only people now are aware,I went to doodh Sagar in 2010,at that time we came by our bike which we had hired locally no taxi was available in that period. Almost a decade

I saw dudhsagar while travelling through train. Its too beautiful and like a milk falling from top of the mountain.
I was reading major water falls in India... My eyes felt down on Dudhsagar waterfall is in Goa at altitude of 310 meter...Then I opened UA-cam to see some videos..After watching videos of Dudhsagar I'm excited to go there... InshaAllah One day I'll be here... ❤

It's a tough route. Not so simple as shared in the video. We covered the route via crossing the river on slippery rocks. Highly dangerous. 90% people slip on these rocks. There isn't the iron bridge or foot rest to cross the river. Only by the grace of drivers accompanying to the route we are able to cross the junction. It's a full circus to reach upto the fall. Day before y'day ive visited the place. I'm sharing my experience. Be mentally prepared to face the challenges to reach upto the waterfall. No doubt people are supporting, some how you'll manage to reach the fall with the help of drivers but mind it it's risky.
Before starting your journey check at the ticket counter or the office whether they have the foot rest support to cross the river.
Is it advisable to go with kids aged 3 to 8?
It is in Karnataka, u can go here easily from londa junction railway station, it is the nearest and beautiful way to go through

Its Rs. 200/per hour extra if you'll be late to come back to the vehicle from the allocated time. We were late by 45 min but paid Rs. 200 extra without any argument as it was worth spending that extra money and we were at fault as we lost track of time swimming under the waterfall. We have no regrets as well for spending extra money. 😁

This was the same before tourists started dirtying the place. Karnataka government has diverted the mhadei water source to this waterfall too. Dudhsagar and Goa is dieing slowly thanks to mass tourism

Oh man, I just visited Dudhsagar waterfall in monsoon and my god, there is so big difference between water level in both season. You must visit in monsoon or late monsoon if you want to enjoy proper dudhsagar view. Of course, you have to trek for 10kms one way for that. But it will worth a lot. And you cannot swin there in monsoon for sure.
Is it open in monsoon like July to simply visit iam not a big swimmer so it’s cool I wud love to sit by the falls ?
@@fawalworld Not sure, but it is open whole year. Just the road trip will be closed during monsoons. So, you might need to Trek more than 22 km up and down for it.

I went from Calangute to Dughsagar waterfall's on a Royal Enfield bullet that I'd rented! It was around 30 Years ago.🥰 I was informed not to attempt it in such a fashion. They said it would be to dangerous. I made it there nice and bonny. A few scary moments trying to get through stream's and climbing steep hills & ravines. Always were up for a challenge me. I loved the place. Lovely people.

How to save 500/-
Tips:
Go to Belagavi railway station.
Catch train at 8am ( channai express )
You will be charge 100/- max.
Reach doodh Sagar in 1:30hr.
Train will slow down near waterfall for 5min.
Jump out.
Enjoy till evening 5pm
Same train will return back at 5pm from goa.
Catch it go to Belagavi railway station then go to home.

1) So I have been to goa couple of time and they say it's closed in monsoon
2) What about the online booking they charge 3500 for jeep pick up and drop , do you suggest to go directly to buy the tickets?
As per my experience, i would suggest to go between December to May and go there by early morning then you can buy ticket from there and did not face rush there
