Mexi Papa is great. He tries to bring his own people up as well as others as his channel has grown along the way. He doesn't forget where he came from nor the struggles of his people. Food is probably what connects all the different peoples and brings them together, especially somewhere as diverse as LA. There's still tons of people who still don't realize just how diverse Latino Culture is, just in itself amongst their own. Great Video Bro!👌 That used to be a rough part of town also and it's great seeing the neighborhood improving. Also, Displacement and Gentrification are two different things people should learn because Displacement is often confused as Gentrification, when it's a whole other subject altogether.
@@dallemon15 thank you 🫡 we are currently wrapping up Mexi Papa‘s top 10 best tacos in Southern California series. Check it out on his channel and look out for behind the scenes on this channel coming soon! Appreciate you!
Oh damn, me and my girl passed down alameda last time and seen this but we ended up going to some other ones in east LA, I’m gonna try this spot since I be going to stiiiizy plus I’m only 8 mins away from this spot
One more thing, I remember there was a spot called avenue26 tacos out there by San Antonio winery, off main st and avenue 20 By Daly or maybe I’m trippin. Lol
@@MackMizzle323 maybe. This is the family that started it and then lots of people ran with the name. Rockstar Eater has a video from a few years back in the original location.
Not yet and hopefully never 😂 the owners always know we are coming, and the people waiting in line are always curious as to what we are doing. I was approached by a police officer not too long ago. He saw me filming his car from the sidewalk. Turns out, he was a foodie, and wanted to know when the episode was going to come out 😂

Social media killed the vibe around Ave 26. Glad they moved to their new location as its better and less people looking for social media clout
LA is the best street food in the U.S. ... period!
Well said!

Have you ever delt with negative ppl like Karens in the street while filming a Taco spot ?

@Advenchas that's Awsome 👍
Mexican street tacos and mini potatoes? LOL! Only other place I heard serving this combination is Taco Bell. 🤢🤢
It’s definitely delicious. The potatoes soak up all that flavor. Thanks for watching
Lol knife skills are horrible you never use your index finger when using a chef’s knife
You might never 😊
Street vendors bad for the actual restaurants that made it the right way.
What’s the “right way?”
I'll pass
Thanks for letting me know 😂
