This is the requested transcription I did of the Luther Vandross song "If Only For One Night'". This comes from the 2001 album "Soul Sessions". Marcus Miller was the bass player on this track.

This one is all about being patient and subdividing...like crazy! :) The tempo is really slow, 53bpm. I found if I wasn't subdividing, it was really easy to come in early.
Remember this is in Cut time and you feel it in two. It will make for a good reading exercise for some of you as well as a chance to play your 5 strings ;)

@@BassCovers It's true, the exact term is tricky, because you have to respect the tempo and find the right measure, and slow songs aren't necessarily the easiest to play.
