I'm leaving the game.
Thank you for indulging me in saying thanks to so many I have crossed paths with.
There are still so many I could name. If we've crossed paths around WOTV, thank you for making my experience positive.

OMG, so sad to see you go Airisaiia. Hope you finish this epic story. Thank you for your help in those insane missions (Muraga & Ashen King). Just sad to know you are leaving and also happy at the same time for you in getting your dream farm.

Thanks Price! I really appreciate all you've said here. Running trials was so fun and we got some great results working out strats. I hope everything is well with you and glad I could be positive for you. You've been a friend and it's appreciated. I think everyone should tell the people in their lives what they think about them as my expression of appreciation to the guilds and game community has come back to me 10 fold. It's been a humbling and positive experience. My guild knows me and sees me better than most of my own family. Sometimes it's the tribes we attract that are exactly what we need and I know this is 100% the case for me w this game community. Waiting to move to the farm is such a test of patience and I cannot wait to get started. You'll def get updates :) And same to you in wishing you all the best!
You were hella emotionally invested in this. That’s cool and everything but there’s no instruction manual and sites such as Wotv calc had to break everything down and figure it out themselves. IE: I had no idea that agility effects Eva and that Dex has diminished returns on how it effects multiple stats.
That type of info should be explained in the tutorials.
Yeah I think the tactics and game basics are actually amazing for having lots of fun technical variables, but IMHO the game's best parts and assets are wasted on a mobile game and particularly gacha format. I remember trying to figure out faith and bravery early on and knowing magic users need high faith but then not understanding why exactly.
Tis Plasma/Eden/Renzokuken, whatever I go by lol. But I'm very sad to see you go for so many reasons. Talking to you over the years about real life stuff, whether it be awful things happening in the world, to my own personal baggage to your farm, and your life. Honestly some of the best conversations I've had in my 27 years of being on this planet. You were are an amazing friend, you were an amazing guild mate. I just know that your farm is going to be a site to behold once everything is said and done, and you start working it to make it yours through and through. Selfish part of me wishes you could stick around but in a very very toned down way. End of the day though you gotta do whats best for you, and what will make you happy. Thanks for being apart of Hydra, being apart of so many of our lives, and thank you for being apart of the overall community that Degen has made over the years. Last but not least, thank you for being an absolutely incredible friend.

Yeah the game is so generous and still on its prime, not like this that u are forced to spend. Even day 1 units are still meta, and balances their units every season like dota and ML if u are familiar with those, and even whales cant get all units that they want. Maybe that is why I am still playing it. I'm also close to leaving this game for the 2nd time coz it is a much different gacha. See u around

I remember the day you joined us and wasn't sure what to expect, but you've been a hard carry in every aspect wotv's guilds have to offer. i'm not really good at this stuff, but you are a blessing and I'll never forget the years we gamed it up at peak levels. and i still think you have the best laugh hands down. looking forward to catching you in Degen's streams when you have time! get to growing those potatoes!

Sorry to see you go, but definitely understandable. Very interesting to hear about your Scotland/farm journey. I sadly only got to know you for a little bit thru your recent vids and comments, but good to know that you were able to extract a good 4 years out of the game. Sometimes I wish more people would post their experiences as well but like since the beginning. I know it's a lot of work but never be afraid!
Definitely keep posting about whatever your play in the future, similar to Cabbage and Mysidia, would still find it nice to check in like that. Also, said this to an Ever Crisis UA-camr to resonate with what you said... I wish we could find a way to have a game like this without having to deal with all the predatory stuff and having to pay insane amounts/invest time just to be able to be on everyone else's level. Unfortunately with the world we live in, this business model is the meta!

Thanks Kel. Yeah would have been cool to be in the same guild. Wotv is a small community so it would be interesting to hear other people's connections and journeys as well. I just also wanted to recognise Individuals who may not know that their efforts and content are impacting people positively.
Oh damn I forgot Cabbage and Mysidia! I literally just watched Mysidia's latest vid. 100%, Just give us a tactics game with the FF catalog and great collabs w lots of content and working w other players without the vulture gacha attached. It genuinely pisses me off to see my friends in my guild getting screwed over with pity after pity. It feels bad and it's just a lame business model. IMHO.

Enjoyed watching your pull videos because you were always hopeful, positive, and making the best of it regardless of how your pulls went. I think we all feel the same regarding Holo vision cards, and etc. I see both side since the company needs to make money as well, it is a gacha game after all, but I do think they need to dial back a bit or give back some more, everyone is feeling it after all the 100 cost and Advent Children collab! Best of luck on your farming in Scotland, outdoors is the best! Nice to get away from the world 🎉
Yeah I wish they could make a game that uses the FF franchise characters, great collabs that make sense and has a tactics style of play without the gacha element. What's funny is I've been playing GW2 and my family was laughing at me because I somehow still found a gacha element in it. There is a festival going on with a lot of these dragon coffer loot boxes that have a ruper rare drop of a character infusion which are some of the most expensive things to get in that game. And I've been farming up those and buying them with gold to try and "pull" this infusion ha ha. And thanks, I grew up being a woodsy kid and riding my horse on the beach in the PNW so it's just back to my roots in many ways.

@@airisaiia7340 Yeah it's hard to prioritize IRL sometimes, I have quit many games at the height of playing I know the feeling. But years later I still checkup on things and can still feel the pleasure of having played and been part of an "era"
They do give out really cool rewards for "returning" players which help enjoy the game from afar.

I played for 9 months only, but i already want to quit because the money is just crazy...
Can understand that. From my perspective and as a global player, it seemed they continued to increase the costs for things whilst offering less for our investment spend.
I always struggle with trials when it comes to getting high score... how did you do it? Man i always wanted one of those titles and ive been playing since the game came out
The basics of ranking up in total score is get the highest h3 score you can and run that 24/7. There is obviously a bit more to it than that. But that is the crux of it.
Getting high scores comes from hitting element/atk type weaknesses of the mobs with where possible a chain, large overkill, the best possible combo of bonus units/VCs and doing it in the most efficient way possible w the least amount of turns. There is then also the element of competing w other people and their ability to come up w runs so you want to be strategic about when you actually post a high score run (use the calculate function for bg farm or an alt to practice). Keep track of where your all your scores are on each run and how much room there is to improve according to what others scores are and or according to the total possible points on the run. It is really challenging to do top ten of both total score as well as total high score like Manta just did last trial. This is where having a guild is everything if your guild cares to try and figure out ways to min max runs so people can think of strats and feed them to you. I usually liked to aim for top 30-50 in total high score just to have the cushion to stay in top 100. - Again there is much more to it than this but these are the basics.

Ok, so why are you leaving WOTV? I swear I skimmed through your whole video twice and I still have no idea…
I didn't want to dwell on the issues I have w the game at all in this vid as I just wanted to speak to the community I love, but those issues are part of it. I have said things more than once in other videos that bother me, such as the constant pities, the not putting old units in a different pull pool, the not dealing w some cheating, the high cost of holo vcs and too many 100 cost units so that if 100 cost units are the norm then they aren't special and shouldnt cost so much, the meta units being required to pass certain content or compete but the meta changes too fast - to name a few things I think could be better. The time commitment and the costs to play at the level I enjoy wotv are too high for me to continue. Also because I am about to buy a farm that will take a huge amount of my time and money to get fixed up and running. I wont be able to continue both. It's just time.
