Sounding epic, Christopher! Love the rustling of the leaves in the wind and the birdsong - seems to suit the atmosphere of the track rather beautifully.
@@michael_caz_nyc So apart from a little bit of the line out mixed in.... about 90% of the sound is just the sound from the amp itself captured by my little Zoom H4n field recorder, that simple. Its a crazily epic amp.
@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar Yeah - I had the original Cube Street, (loved-it) but now, I'm thinking about grabbing this-one? Your audio/video was Pristine. Appreciate the input. Stay Safe brother.
Super kind comment, thank you so much. There is a mix of ambient mic and DI here so you do hear the acoustic element of the guitar a small bit... but the amp is significantly louder than the guitar, plus a the DI mixed in as well...so Id so very much mostly amp :) Thanks again for taking the time to write such a kind comment
Love that guitar. The tone you’re getting thru the Roland is impressive. I have the Street Cube Ex and I’m constantly fighting to get a decent tone.. A superb performance here! ❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite tune with « Rolling Hills » when I discovered your album « Stories for Solo Guitar »!!! So great to see you playing it live! Hope to see you live one day! I missed your workshop in Morges (Switzerland) à few years ago! Greetings from Geneva! 👍🏻🙏🏻
Hi there, so there are two channels but you can also have an AUX in, and adjust that volume. So guitar and vox and backing track etc . Hope that helps.
If go from the line out to another source like a Cube Street EX or the to Bose S1-Pro inputs can I still hear the Cube Street II as well? Is the harmonizer a good one for vocals? Please advise
Hey Jerry, thats correct the line out means you can still hear the cube... the rec out I think not. so you have both options. I havent tested the vocal harmonizer... Id guess if its even half as good as everything else itd still be awesome.
Hey Alan, thanks for commenting. So most of what you can hear in this video is the amp captured through the ambient mic. Just a very tiny bit of line out mixed in so it should give you a really good idea. I think this amp is incredible to be honest, the sheer volume and fullness of sound is not something I ever expected to hear from something battery poweted, it's genuinely powerful and detailed across all frequncies. The sounds are of course spot on and it's so light it's crazy. Hope that helps .
@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar thanks so much. I had the previous Modell and it was 2 X 2.5w this one is 2 X 5w so I imagine the sound is good. I've ordered one through Thomann but they keep changing the delivery date. Should have come weeks ago but now middle September. I was even thinking of getting the JBL eon one compact but it's bigger and heavier. But after your video I will wait.
@@mrplitsum Yes was lucky enough to get my hands on one for some commissioned videos so it was pre-production marketing units not available for sale. Very lucky really :) I hope yours arrives soon.
Acoustic fingerstyle is truly the only guitar playing that still wows & excites me. You're a fantastic player! Subscribed. I'm considering buying the Cube Street II. What's it's like as a bluetooth home stereo for streaming Spotify etc? I was looking at the Yamaha THRii series to do guitar + music listening, but this looks like a much more versatile option (minus Yamaha's great amp modeling of course).
Thanks so much for your kind comment. To be honest I haven't tried, or know about, it for the purpose you mentioned. I'm happy to say it's a crazy cool amp though which I really love playing through on all different instruments.
There's lots of folks saying the sound quality and volume drops off a cliff after just an hour..the batteries don't hold . What's your experience? Nothings good! Why can't they make a built in lithium battery? The Hartley benton street box does. Something better needs to be designed... The bose S pro needs to mate with this!
There is absolutely no low end even though it has 2 "6.5" inch speakers.. its very disappointing.. and the website also does not give details of frequency response which is very misleading. 😭
Hey Chris ! You are un great musician ! A simple equipment but an enormous talent ! Thank you
Absolutely outstanding!!! WOW
Thank you very much :)
So good
Thank you so much
The way his fingers glide across the fretboard is almost magical. Love this!
Thats an immensely kind comment to leave here. Thank you very much, super glad you enjoyed.
Stunning piece and wonderful video - just wow! 🔥

@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar How is the sound coming from the amp-speakers ( not direct out )?

Beautifully played & filmed.
Thank u so much :)
Excellent!
Stunning playing! Extraordinary mastery. And the amp sounds great too but it's difficult to tell whether the guitar or the amp sounds great.

Are there 3 channels on here so I can plug guitar, mic and a beat pedal
Hi there, so there are two channels but you can also have an AUX in, and adjust that volume. So guitar and vox and backing track etc . Hope that helps.
It sounds really good but it would have been it useful to have seen what channel was being used and the eq settings.
open tuning .. it lit .

Hi Chris ,is it loud enough to to play in public eg 80s rock pop covers on electric Sea front etc

Some people might prefer AA because they could be changed cheaply on the fly.
