Here's my guitar arrangement of "Remember Me (Reunion)", Miguel's version featured near the end of the movie of Disney/Pixar's Coco. Héctor's lullaby version has always been my favorite but Miguel's version has grown on me to be a close 2nd to Héctor's version. Miguel's version is in Db instead of C and is much more spacious. There's some subtle differences in the rhythm of the melody and some chord voicings but the biggest difference is that there's no drop D tuning and makes some of the chord shapes more recognizable (especially for the jazz musician). Instead of the Ab/D slash chord near the end of Héctor's version of the song Miguel's version substitutes a Dm11b5 chord (in the key or C) or Ebm11b5 chord (for the key of Db). This version is definitely easier to play due to not having as many stretch type chords and the space used in the beginning gives the song a different kind of beauty. I hope you enjoy my arrangement and performance of this fantastic and gorgeous song!
