    Well I made this version and we loved it! This one I made into a loaf instead of rolls. It slices up clean and not as moist as the other one with the egg whites, so it has held up well not being refrigerated. I am testing it to see how long it will stay fresh. Gosh so good! Now on to try your newest rolls. Thanks for all you do! 💐

    Elsie, I'm so glad that I found your site!! I made your keto walnut bread (eggless) with hazelnut meal, and it came out very dense and wet. The meal originated from the remaining ground (blenderized) nuts after I made hazelnut milk. The meal was a bit wet from making the milk as little clumps formed. I used 4 Tbsp psyllium husk just like you have in your recipe. Any suggestions for using the hazelnut nut meal after making hazelnut nut milk?

    I love your channel. I tried this eggless version last night and the taste was awesome! It was heavenly tasty with butter and dipping it in balsamic vinegar... we miss bread after starting on keto. However i dont know what went wrong with the texture of my bread, it was denser than your video. I was hoping to achieve that fluffiness like yours. May i know if you are using raw walnuts? I was using baked walnuts. Also, after grinding with coconut flour, why is my outcome still oily, almost becoming like walnut paste? Any tips to improve?

    • @lowcarbrecipeideas
      @lowcarbrecipeideas 4 роки тому

      I used raw whole walnuts. You need to pulse by seconds as shown in video not blend. Also indicated in the full written recipe in the description box. It's also mentioned that this eggless version is denser as it does not rise as much as the the one with egg whites due to the protein. If you want a lighter version you have got to try the version with egg whites as it rises so well.

Btw, beside the texture of the bread that I have problem with, the taste is wonderful! Thanks... :D

    • @lowcarbrecipeideas
      @lowcarbrecipeideas 4 роки тому

      You need to grind the husk with a coffee bean or spice grinder or multi grinder. Food processor or blender are not effective unless you have a powerful blender then you can use it too. Using the husk n grinding until half its volume before using is the best for baking. If using psyllium powder the amount needs to be reduced drastically to about 2 to 3 tsp only as it is super fine and more concentrated.
