It's incredible how difficult and frustrating such a simple task such as migrating an app could be. The moment I enter the 6 digit code on the iPhone, my OnePlus 10 Pro (with the SIM card still in) claims that Whatsapp is registered ato another device and the transfer process halts. I reckon it has to do with the Android version. I have done like 7 factory defaults on the poor iPhone... I am going to break something...

Hi! I have a question.
I am in the same situation as you in this video (I want to transfer my WhatsApp to my new iPhone). I already setup my new iPhone and only realised after that I had to use the 'Move to iOS' tool to transfer the WhatsApp primary account.
If I follow the steps in this video and sign into my Apple ID near the end of the process, will the iPhone be restored to as it was from the last iCloud backup? Or will be back to factory settings?

hey buddy, I follow your steps but once the code on iphone has been accepted the next page with 'move chats from android (9:00)' never appear for me and instead I've had the page with 'restore from icloud' - is there any chance you could helps please? Yes.. move to iOS app is the only legitimate solution but it took me almost 6-7 times of attempting the whole process all over again but trust me it works.
