Hello! How often should I scan the QR code?
Not often, usually it works with no issue for 2 months in WEBJS and I've seen 6 months session in NOWEB engine on WAHA Plus.
Keep in mind that your phone must be online every week in order to keep the session online, otherwise it'll get logout.

We used DigitalOcean and pure VPS (droplets) via SSH, they're pretty good!

@@tech_vansh1 I think the easiest way is to place the API behind some reverse proxy like nginx that will handle ssl termination for you and than work with the API just as plain HTTP

Yes, it doesn't require UI interface at all, any linux based OS with docker should work (we prefer Ubuntu tho)

Can I run this without docker?
Yes! You can run it with pm2 or other process manager if you want to.
One thing to notice you need to recreate this environment, following the commands in Dockerfile - github.com/devlikeapro/waha/blob/core/Dockerfile
