Hi, Please note that this guitar has been modded to within an inch of its life... The only thing original left are the body, neck, and nut. this will NOT be how the Omen extreme-6 sound out of the box.
@@apingo-thatnewbieguitarguy2338 oh, I definitely understand. I’ve been looking at different videos and yours definitely sounds different. But it’s more of the sound I like and now I know I can achieve it. Thanks for the information!
@@apingo-thatnewbieguitarguy2338 I just subscribed! I'm going to ask you about your mods when I get my guitar, if that's okay. Glad to have found your page!! Keep up the good work.
@@WilbertGross Thanks!! Really appreciate it!! Just comment on any of the videos on the channel if you have questions about mods and the parts. I'll answer them to the best of my abilities. 🙂🙂🙂
Well.... A few hours of actual practice... I've been around guitars and guitarists most of my life, and I spent a good part of my earlier life in recording studios, I guess I picked up some stuff by 'Osmosis' over the years... :P
That is a beautiful guitar. You can get pretty good guitars nowadays at a decent price. How do you like the Seymour Duncans compared to stock pickups? Also, don't be afraid of playing wrong notes. You will find that out of key notes can have interesting sounds like in Jazz/blues. Keep it up!
Thank you... Unfortunately, I had to stop playing for a while... Life got in the way. Hopefully I'll be back to practicing again this year. The stock Ceramics sounded 'harsh', 'fuzzy', and kinda 'undefined' to me... Don't get me wrong, they are perfectly good pups, it's just my personal preference. I chose the Pegasus and Sentients for their articulation and the 'cleaner' and more 'precise' sound. I modded this guitar with the intention for it to be versatile enough to handle most stuff, and I guess it does that now. Regarding the wrong notes... LOL... I guess it's the OCD in me. I try to make every note sound as clean and precise as I can in practice. I mean, why compromise just because I'm a noob? Just build up good habits and technique from day 1 and it should serve me well down the road as I progress. Once again, thank you for your kind words, annd for taking the time out to leave a comment. I really appreciate it.
Thank you!!
Thank YOU SIR!!! Your video on ideas for daily exercises is FANTASTIC!!
What a beautiful guitar to learn on. Fantastic Job!
Thank you, it's a wonderful axe!! 🙂🙂🙂
I'm thinking of getting this guitar. Thank you for the demo of how it sounds!!
