My fav weapon from Dark Souls 1. Two-handing a weapon even with zero STR scaling will use better-hidden motion(AR) modifiers. Almost every weapon in DS1 and 2 will have 1.00 for 1HR1 and 1.20 modifier for 2HR1 attacks. Almost all jumping attacks have a 1.55 modifier. So a 200AR katana with zero str scaling if using two-handed R1 is basically the same real dmg as a 240AR 1HR1. Due to how dmg calculation works usually two handing will give around 25-30% more"real" dmg per R1 with a zero str scaling weapon. Most importantly two handing give +50% poise dmg so you can stagger enemies much easier including Artoiras buff or Priscila's invisible poise. Bleed deals 9% max hp dmg to bosses and 30% to everything else. Bleed actually scales well into higher NG+ cycles. Where 30% hp loss often finishes off enemies.
We always wanted that double tree branch swipe so you could run up the middle and get the Jump right and kill the weird egg thing. Yeah ok I'm not crazy this is just dark souls
I did something similar with my samurai build, i got the chaos blade from the uchigatana with 10 humanity to boost damage too. With a collage of different armors too, I looked pretty sick, and I had the same ninja roll.
great video btw!! i want to go back and do an uchigitana run now. but ive been playing Elden ring since march and keep trying different builds there lol. i started a strength build run but then got the bloodhounds fang and switched to a dex bleed build lol
@@NoahIsNeon yes i have that plus golden vow on a dagger (didn’t have to waste levels on faith), flame grant me strength and i just upped arcane to use swarm of flies.

yeah of course you can, but you gotta kill the trader for his "love ...Yulia" katana dex scrub roly poly build incoming...enjoy mate its awesome
