absolutely, i was shocked when i was in bangkok in aug 2024, i took a cab from downtown area to airport, the starting fare was 35 baht which was the same as 20 years ago, ask yourself how much have taxi fare increase over the past 20 years in Sg? just pure greed. The total fare for the 1hour journey was just 297 baht which was about $12, i think can only take a 10 min taxi ride here,

The only way to protect your rights and to preserve democracy is to have at least 1/3 opposition in the parliament. This is especially so for native Singaporeans as your representation may be marginalised by new citizens who tends to be pro-PAP. I tend to believe that the PAP are bringing in more new citizens to replace their core base of baby boomers as they continue to dwindle with age.

The only way to protect your rights and to preserve democracy is to have at least 1/3 opposition in the parliament. This is especially so for native Singaporeans as your representation may be marginalised by new citizens who tends to be pro-PAP. I tend to believe that the PAP are bringing in more new citizens to replace their core base of baby boomers as they continue to dwindle with age.

There are many reason why Lawrence Wong and his party cannot be trusted. I will just give 2. The people of Singapore has told him not to increase the GST to 9% especially when there is already a global inflation affecting Singapore, he still did it. Also, many people feedback that the $4000 skill future top up credits should not just be given to those 40 and above but to a lower age group so people can upgrade themselves; 40 years is a bit too late already but this was also ignored. It shows the PAP does not listen to the concerns of the people. They act like they listen but still continue to implement draconian policies and in the end, its the people who suffer.
