To make it taste really good u have to start with the fish onions peppers tomatoes. Start like making a light pepper soup, so ur fish gives u a good flavor and softer before putting the yam. Trust me. U will thanks me. So anyone reading it, not too much tomatoes, just one or two, and one or two pepper. Anything else can be more. Salted fish like cod
I started cooking that when I was 12 and now 60. Lady's love to see my cooking and lean from me. We are nine brothers and one sister the last born and mom has a restaurant so she make sure everyone has something to do to help with ten workers included. If I visited a friend's their women runs out because of their bad cooking. Peace out ✌️

Nice one. Suggestion. Instead of soaking the fish for so long nd draining the essence of the fish out, wash it and put it early into the pot. It will soften by the time to food is done. Try it and see the difference

You are a great team: you and husband.
He's so blessed to have you because every man wants his food and you cook well so he's not going anywhere. 🤣🤣
He supports you so that's all you need.
    Keep up the good work.
    Nicely done.
    Thanks for sharing.
Your husband is funny the way he says the "mportormportor."🤣🤗

Although I am African Vegan I enjoyed watching this video. I like your partners way of saying mpoto mpoto!!! Although I was born in Ghana I did not realise that Asaro or Yam porridge is mpoto mpoto!! It is probably because I wasn't raised to eat much African food. Thanks for the video. Manashantii

Stella your husband is really funny....it made me laugh so hard when he would tease you by saying the name mpoto-mpoto. What was even funnier was you seemed to not know he was doing it on purpose.....or you were just playing along with him. Very cute you guys.

Daniel N.L Lamptey soy sauce sounds good. An easy way to add salt, which is the only thing I add to my mackerel before baking. I will have to try your way!

You can try but it would be best to use the most creamy potatoes possible. Can also try taro root. Also the chicken should be pre-cooked when adding it.
