Love seeing the animals looking so good. It looks like Tex has calmed down a lot since he got away from Billy. I’ve seen Lester get up closer too him and Tex doesn’t charge at him like he did at ISS. Hoping you will be able too get the driveway fix in a way that it won’t wash out again.

I worked at a casino resort for 25yrs, all concrete floors where I had to stand & walk. Bulging discs, 2 blown knees & arthritis. Now they have rubber mats, but we didn't. 🥺
I can't believe how calm the longhorns are just standing patiently waiting for there feed. I never realized it. They must be used to Lester coming in all the time not only to feed but clean up things that need to be done. It is a sloppy mess . With so much more rain for 2 more weeks is going to be so much more worse. Have an amazing day. I'm happy Ritzy will be coming over after the fencing is done. Really a great idea.
Quite a few livestock owners put rubber mats on concrete floors. But they have to be right. I worked at a place with concrete floors and not all the mats they tried helped. I actually got more relief from doubled up corrugated boxes For you city folk, think of the back aches and shin splints from a day walking on the tile floors at the mall 😭

I know all about concrete being bad to stand on for a long time, 3 hours a day for five days a week, after my first year, I started suffering with plantars fasciitis, I lasted three more years and quit, in about three minutes after I quit working the pain in my foot went away.

I’ve stood on concrete all my life. At work and my home was on a concrete slab. I’ve had both my knees replaced, and go to a Chriopractor for my back. I’m 75 but still work a little at Home Depot . Folks who don’t stand on concrete all day for years don’t understand how it affects your body long term.
Rita F….. I retired from Home Depot here in Houston after 23 yrs. My SAS shoes saved me from the concrete floors an ladder climbing. I’m an old, over weight gramma an loved it. Luckily no back or knee problems. I’m 72 an still kicking it. Hope you are better

I'm glad you finally tried Ultrashield fly spray. I've mentioned it a few times because it's absolutely great on white horses and everyone else. It also comes in a gallon jug so you can just refill those small sprayers. We've been using it for years. These guys really had me laughing 😂 it brought back memories of when we had a bunch of horses and they all decided to go nuts in their turnout area.

I know that animals mess with people they know they can get a rise out of, and get away with doing it to. I found that out with the cat I had as a teen, and have seen it reinforced my whole life.

I've been in retail almost my entire working life. I just had a steel plate and 6 screws in my neck less than a year ago.

There's no happy medium on the weather. The drought in CA and now the torrential rain have filled the lakes back up like they thought would never happen again. I hope things get better for you, too.

I know that animals mess with people they know they can get a rise out of, and get away with doing it to. I found that out with the cat I had as a teen, and have seen it reinforced my whole life.
