In the title, you have mentioned a comparison b/w new IIMs and NM, SIBM, but, in first half of the video, you have compared companies b/w old IIMs and new ones, which is not justified. Brand IIM has strong intangible value, IIM-Shillong has reached the same placements even after starting 27 and 30 years later than NM and SIBM respectively. Even baby IIMs are touching 16LPA median package now. These all IIMs have tremendous growth rate. 20 years later, these all IIMs will have strong brands, and this will be advantageous to alums too.
No, but your value at any point of time in future will be determined by your work + your alma mater's value at that time. You can understand the magnitude of this from any old alum of IIM I or K, which didn't have much value, when they graduated.

@@cashmoney2159no brother you are wrong approach koi nhi lagata the guy said correctly if you join a baby iim now 10-15 years down the line when these so called baby iims will be well established...the alum salary also increases and then that alum goes to his alma mater to recruit after getting at a good position...mba is a masters degree no matter what an iim tag on your cv matters a lot because when you see 15-20 years down the line ...the iims that we are calling babies now will be hella difficult to crack...they are not easy to get in at this moment also.... everything takes time...kal ko aapke bacche honge you will be telling your kids to get into any of the iims shayad ..then you will be telling them ki hamare time me in iims ki koi value nhi thi...but at that time they will be standing strong and you will be regreting if you didn't join

I converted SIBM Pune and NMIMS Mumbai in 2021 but decided not to join because of the following reasons: 1. Low perception 2. Inflated placement reports (specially NMIMS Mumbai) In my view, IIM Udaipur and IIM Trichy are better than SIBM and NMIMS (but SIBM is better only if you are interested in doing marketing) Remember you only do an MBA once, so you will carry that brand name your entire life.
IIM Udaipur publishes audited placement report every year, so no chances of inflation. Whereas NM is pure money making institute, it can do everything to fetch good mba aspirants, which can include tempering reports. If NM starts auditing, then I can believe it. Also, IIMU is one of the few Institutes, which publishes lowest package too, can't expect this from NM 🤣

Thank you for your support. Focus on getting a high percentile in CAT and preparing well for GDPI, and you will be able to crack a good college. With a 95+ you can aim for baby IIMs

@@theiimguynot really. Talk to the student on number of students going abroad and university (actual numbers compared to what they show on website) you can create a video on it showing how many students went abroad last year from each new iim. It’ll help many

Go through again with your research properly buddy, IN IIM RAIPUR If U get a PPO of 14 Lakh or above than u can’t go through the final placement process Similarly In IIM Rohtak but Its 13 Lakh

Academics are important, however it all depends on the company and role that you are applying to and how much weightage do they give it.
