High rpm drilling test - MDU core drill with SL-spindle unit

- Drilling with 3.4 meters / second. Ø 200 mm drill bit, 47 cm thick concrete with porphyre stones and one 30 mm rebar. The drilling took 6 minutes, 50 seconds. Re-bar 02:56-05:16 = approx 2 minutes 20 seconds. A lot of vibrations and a lot of feeding pressure needed. High wear on the drill bit. We definitely recommend higher rpm when drilling with the Pentruder MDU.
