As a kannadiga (initially started work in Bengaluru for 3 years and working in Bengaluru from last 1 year), who worked in IT sector in Hyderabad for 5 years, brother I love Hyderabad too, the city that gave me life with good break for career, the people in Hyderabad are a little more welcoming compared to Bengaluru of now (earlier even Bengaluru was more welcoming, but due to Cosmopolitan atmosphere, people are getting frustrated), Hyderabad is developing rapidly, but I can say one thing, Hyderabad is no cheap, it's getting way costlier than Bengaluru.
Don't be under wrong impression now that Hyderabad is cheap, that would be a myth.
And as for food is compared, Hyderabad is heaven for non vegetarian people but for people like me who are vegetarian background, we don't find the same choices in Hyderabad as it is for non veg people and the small hotels like shanthi sagar, udupi chain restaurants, adigas, etc, we don't find options for breakfast as easily as we find in Bengaluru.
Hyderabad also has traffic but it still moves while on the other hand, don't even think about traffic in Bengaluru, it's horrendous.
Bengaluru weather is good and moderate but Hyderabad has extreme climate in all seasons, if it's summer, it's bloody hot, in rainy season, the heavens shower like it will create hell in Hyderabad and in winter, it freezes the balls.😅.
So good to see the South Indian cities competiting in a healthy manner.
I have shared my experience, please don't take it as a negative feedback for both kannada and telugu people.

As a Bengaluru person living in Hyderabad for past 5 years. These are my honest observation.
1. Hyderabad has horrible road systems compared to Bangalore, they show Gachibowli, Jubilee hills, Banjara hills as developed areas but if you see overall Hyderabad roads are dirty and narrowed and traffic is no better than Bengaluru.
2. People are more conservative and crude compared to Bengaluru. Sorry but as a woman I feel very weird and odd wearing a decent modern dress in a decent area.
3. CLEANLINESS is a major issue in Hyderabad, people don't care about their city and have least respect for public property.
4. Public transport in Bengaluru is waaay waaay sophisticated than here, buses are from god knows which era but they are horrible in Hyderabad.
5. People keep complaining about prices in Bengaluru, let me tell you ground reality. Food in Bengaluru is much cheaper, because even in roadside bandi they maintain cleanliness and you get decent food. Hyderabad if you go to a decent place you still end up shelling out money, apart from Biryani and chai and sweets I wouldn't boast much about the city food culture.
6. Despite having heavy traffic, people in Bengaluru follow traffic rules strictly. In Hyderabad people are so reckless, no lane maintainace, don't wear helmet. Have zero respect for laws.
Overall Bengaluru is faaar fair better and anyone says Bengaluru roads are not wide has clearly not visited the city properly. Due to advent of IT people migrated to the city a lot and traffic increased rapidly. But roads are soo damn wide, well structured city. Hyderabad has s loooooong way to go in developing, so actually apart from rise in IT and some infrastructure in my eyes they are no way close.

I think u don't know much about Hyderabad. I have seen both cities, Bengalur and Hyderabad. Both are unique in their ways. Climate wise I like Bengaluru but in development Hyderabad is dominating Bengaluru.
